So our only real snubs were Charles Johnson and Thomas freaking Davis. I'm somewhat shocked with the amount of press Davis was getting that he didn't get in. And CJ got snubbed by Hardy (IMO), who I think has more name recognition because he's somewhat insane (Hogwarts, anyone?).

I guess you could make an argument for Star, but there were so many good (and young) DT's this year it was ridiculous. And it was nice to see Mike Mitchell getting some recognition early on but I wasn't surprised he dropped off some.

Cam is the only one who got in who probably didn't deserve first ballot. Close, but not there yet in my book.

Hard to believe we sent more from our offence than our defense.

Oh well, congrats to Cam, Kuechly, Hardy, Tolbert, and Kalil. It won't matter though as none of them will end up playing anyway Wink

I don't think Johnson was snubbed. Fine player but he missed a couple of games and there isn't an argument for him to get in over the guys who made it.

I really wish they would stop grouping 4-3 OLBs with 3-4 OLBs. It is completely unfair to Lavonte David and Thomas Davis. They have no chance to make it because the 3-4 OLBs with fancy sack stats will always make it over them. Davis and David outperformed Abraham and Brooks.

Thomas Davis...how can a player that good get so little love. Oh well, at least we love him...and offenses don't...

Because they grouped 3-4 OLBs with 4-3 OLBs, that's the problem. 3-4 OLBs get sexier stats, stats mean everything to some.

and they don't allow blitzing in the pro bowl. so these DEs you have playing OLB in a 3-4 are dropping in coverage and aren't able to show what got them to the pro bowl

I agree tbrown, 9 sacks this year was good but not pro bowl worthy. Last year, he was a nightmare in the backfield with 12.5 sacks and 7 forced fumbles!

Yeah, I must be living in the first half of the season still... I could've swore he'd hit double digit sacks already.
