I'm not that big of a Lovie fan. Sure he can bring in a defensive staff but none of our guys are zone CBs.

Cool. And he has zero success in putting together a competent staff on offense.
I think I read something that last year he played more man than zone. I mean can it get worse offensively. We have the worst offense in the league.

See that's the attitude I can't stand. I'm not willing to settle for average anymore. We need a guy that can turn the team around as a whole and get this offense rolling to its strength.
have we ever had a big time offense. In the whole team history. I will take a great defense with around a 20th ranked offfense.

That doesn't work in today's league pal. You need an offense that can score.
an elite defense will carry you to the playoffs. I counted 5 playoff teams that have a great defense and mediocre offense.

Hmm I can only think of KC this year. And Carolina give or take.

I wish we had that mindset earlier in the year.

Gonna cite Chip Kelly here. He has said in the past there there is a right and wrong way to win, but he won't be taking his foot off the pedal until the team is up by like 5 scores. This is what needs to be every coaches mindset.

It sucks to be on the receiving end of that, but I respect the decision. Keep your foot on the gas, because if you coast you're only letting the other team the option of coming back.

It's professional sports, so while I do see it as unnecessary sometimes, I can't blame a team for keeping up the effort.

Blount having a career day for NE. Looks like some proper coaching is helping him.

Yep. These are grown men despite what Schiano believes and if they don't like it do something about it.

I would like to wish Coach Schiano success in his future endeavors, but please clean out your office as soon as you get off the plane, you are no longer employed by this organization.

Alright, I know he won't be terminated till Monday morning.
