Hardy is the antithesis of Peppers. JP got by on pure god given talent. Hardy has a motor that will not stop.

That's true if Pep had a motor like Hardys he would have been the GOAT.

Well put, and it definitely seems like Hardy loves it here and loves his teammates. I'd be surprised if we let him walk.

Yep. If the door was open, it just slammed shut.

Expect a search for our next DE to start sooner rather than later.

Id rather get rid of Johnson then let Hardy walk. No chance we let Hardy walk. He is perhaps our best defender and is still developing. Rivera knows this and the way he talks about Hardy brings any doubt to me we let him walk.

5 years 52 million. I think that is what we gave Beason. I think that will do it. Can we afford that? I don't know.

That would work. We need to sign him at this point. We should do it tomorrow before he gets another 12 sacks in the playoffs!

I think he gets franchised if they can't resign him. Cannot let Hardy leave.

Quality DE's fetch a much higher price in the free agent market than LB'ers... There is no way he doesn't get franchised or sign a big contract with the Panthers this offseason. He's turned into one of the very best in the NFL and he deserves all the money that's coming to him.
