We would have moved the ball better with Smith in there no doubt. But the offense was struggling before that. Don't forget protection was pretty bad today and Cam overthrew on several drive sustaining throws today.

My hope is we get the #2 seed and let Smitty get rested. We'll also hopefully have Stewart back.
stewart sucks

BS he sucks. He was the only back doing anything against NO before they took him out of the game with that cheap shot.

Looking back, I was yelling at Riverboat Ron to go for it with about 2 minutes left in the game.

He trusted the defense that had kept us alive up until that point and it paid off. That was a crucial decision and it appears Ron made the right call, despite the restless crowd.

Hats off, Ron.

I'm finally dried off.
I cried.
Tears were shed.
We deserve this.

he's nowhere near the same player he was 2 years ago. It'll sting but yes it won't sting as much. But hopefully it highlights the need for a no 1 wr in the offseason. I don't really feel comfortable rollin with hixon, lafell and ginn

Don't forget Olsen, he's huge for us. Smitty will be back for the playoffs don't worry

Just got home from the game!!!!! OMG, WTF, LOLOLOLOLOL!!! My buddy and I compared that game to the Pats game this season and this one was definitely a better win for the Panthers. When Hixon scored, the stadium was literally shaking! Leaving BoA stadium was a real treat! Everyone was cheering, chanting and just living it up. Alot of "who dat, we dat!" and "Let's go Panthers!" The difference in the game was the rainstorm! The crowd got so jacked up in the 3rd. Also, Kuechly is a freakin' beast as is Thomas Davis. What a game, what a game, What a GAME!!!!! Playoffs, baby! GO PANTHERS!!!!!!!!!!!

What a win. I had to hit the road for a Christmas dinner with my family and had my wife reading the gamecast on my phone while I was driving. Needless to say, I did a happy dance on I40 in the middle of Asheville.

I really think wrapping up the #2 will be good for us, especially since we had our bye week so early in the year.

My girlfriend wants to have a Christmas dinner next Sunday. Can't happen.

You're trying hard not to blame Cam here aren't you. He's at fault for a lot that has gone wrong today.

You really have a thing for Cam, dont you? Laughing

How about coming back in and saying something about that final drive? You seem to appreciate fair and balanced perspectives. How about you show a little yourself?
