Congrats on the division win guys. (well pretty much, still got to beat Atlanta, any given Sunday and all that but the Falcons are so bad) Surely earned it, we're just not clutch this year. Same thing happened vs New England. Had 2 opportunities to run the clock out and couldn't, and then our defense chokes it away.

Instant Classic. Hard fought game and this may not be the last time we play this year.

i love smitty but i don't think him being out is gonna hurt as much as it would have 3-4 years ago

I agree, so long as Cam steps it up.

I honestly think Hixon can still play ball. He didn't get much playing time all year, and he played fairly well today in limited action.

he's nowhere near the same player he was 2 years ago. It'll sting but yes it won't sting as much. But hopefully it highlights the need for a no 1 wr in the offseason. I don't really feel comfortable rollin with hixon, lafell and ginn

Definitely not. But even a lost-two-or-three-steps Smitty can get more separation than any of our other WR outside of Ginn who, as much as I love how clutch he's been of late, has hands of stone.

I think Shula can be creative enough to come up with some playcalls to mask some of these issues, but it really hurts because a lot of the more traditional, down the field routes are now going to be lower percentage plays for us. It remains to be seen whether or not Shula can do it.

I couldn't agree more. You basically have 1- #2.5 and 2- #3 receivers there.

We would have moved the ball better with Smith in there no doubt. But the offense was struggling before that. Don't forget protection was pretty bad today and Cam overthrew on several drive sustaining throws today.

My hope is we get the #2 seed and let Smitty get rested. We'll also hopefully have Stewart back.
