I'm pretty sure that whoever wins next week clinches the division. If we win we take over the tiebreaker because the Saints lost to an NFC team and we would have the common opponents tiebreaker.

Am I right?

We would still have to win in Week 17 or need New Orleans to lose.

We have to win week 16 & 17 to take the #2 seed and NFC South crown

I believe the Saints would win the division if we won next week but lost to ATL and they beat TB.

Yes, because they would have the better division record. If we win next week, we are the 2 seed and leader of the NFC South since we have a better record over common opponents.

We don't have to win week 17 if we win week 16 and NO loses week 17

This is correct.

Under the circumstance we lose, knock on wood, we would need Arizona to lose or if they win, San Fransisco to lose as well. We are still in the playoffs if there is a three way tie between us.

Thankfully Arizona has to win in Seattle next week in order to get to 10 wins.

According ESPN's playoff machine, if we go 1-1 to end the season, we make the playoffs regardless of what the other teams do.

For argument's sake, let's say that is what we end up doing.

If Arizona finishes 2-0, we would have identical 11-5 records. San Francisco would be either end at 10-6 (with a loss to Atlanta in Week 16) or 11-5 (with a win) because of the loss to Arizona in Week 17. That means the following:

-San Fran also 11-5: Carolina and San Fran make the playoffs and Arizona doesn't based on tiebreakers that I don't understand.
-San Fran 10-6: obviously, Carolina and Arizona make it.

So the fact that San Francisco and Arizona play each other in the final week really saves us, making out margin of error much larger. The only way we don't make the playoffs is if we finish 0-2.

We could make the playoffs with an 0-2 stretch, knock on wood, if Atlanta takes down San Fransisco. Another unlikely way is Chicago and Detroit both winning out.

We do clinch with a victory.

Just win a game, seriously. Before week 14 the Saints were a tough *** team to beat. Honestly I think now they can do it.

I hoped they would finish out the season 2-2 to be 11-5. It's possible to be mentioned and I hate cliches but next week is one the most important in Cam's history. Regardless of the pressure put on one certain individual or the rest of the team, they need to show up together as a unit.

Biggest problem so far this season and against the Saints. The DL has to show up next week. Big week from the D and I believe we can win. It will take a ton of preparation and concentration however.

I find it a bit annoying we have to play the Saints coming off a loss both times. The game is big enough as it is Laughing I don't like the extra motivation for them.
