Are we playing the Fightin' Genos or somebody else? I hope it's the Genos.

Also on the bright side, even after the drubbing we received at the hands of the Saints last night, Carolina still has the top-rated defense in terms of points per game and rushing yards per game. I believe they're 5th in pass yards per game and 2nd (behind Seattle) in total yards per game.

The one thing I have noticed all year that is a bit disconcerting (that is a no-brainer when you think about it) is that Carolina's opponents complete a high percentage of passes. I think it's about 67%. That's not good. It reinforces what we already know: Teams have a hard time getting consistent yardage through the air because of the pass rush, but when they do get the ball off, the secondary isn't exactly great in coverage.

Just checked, they're tied for 2nd worst in opponents' completion percentage. Now, they are tied for 10th with average per completion at 6.9, meaning they get stops when passes are completed. But the completions come in droves.

What? When did this happen?

The Jets have had that title since like Week 1. Damn Marcel Reece. Evil or Very Mad

This is a must win. We can all but clinch a playoff birth with a win and Arizona/SF loss.

On paper we are the better team. However the Jets beat NO earlier this year so they are no team to sleep on. We did well containing Kaepernick, and we will have to employ a similar strategy versus Smith.

Just saw on the ESPN scroll the Cromartie may be out due to a concussion suffered in the Oak game in the 3rd quarter.

I've had this game marked in my calender since the Bills lost. Some Jets DE was talking mad smack after we lost to the game, and I hope we go in there and just take over this game start to finish.

There is just no way we are going to be able to sustain drives. We need to be able to get into the 3rd and shorts to help Geno and with your tough run D it's not going to be pretty. I expect alot of 1 and 2 yard runs putting us in obvious passing downs. If we can give Geno time (another thing we've been struggling with) then he can make some throws but pressure has been his problem. This is just a bad matchup for us.

I expect you guys to handle us fairly easily 24-10 I'll say. It will be closer than the score indicates cause I think we can slow you down some but it will never be in question.

Well, Barnes is on IR, so you should have no problem shutting him down.

His 3 tackles would have killed us.

jets defense will hold the run game in check so it's on the passing game which is hit and miss. seems like a low scoring game 13-7 jets
