What i'm surprised by is that no one has heard any updates on Tillman or Dietrich-Smith since there visit. Wonder if there is something in place and we just need to clear some space or something. Most players that have left have been connected somewhere else.

It's been confirmed that Tillman left without a deal.

I know that but what i'm saying is have you heard of him going anywhere else?

Oh, no clue. I assume the Bears are still interested, but other than that... yeah, I've heard nothing.

There's our answer.

Quote:
Chicago Bears @ChicagoBears
The #Bears have agreed to terms on a one-year contract with Charles Tillman

Steve smith signed with Baltimore.

Love the Deiitrich Smith signing. If were going zbs Zuttah is an excellent RG.

I really want Edleman. Even more than I'd want sanders.

Quote:
Bucs agreed to terms with C Evan Dietrich-Smith, formerly of the Packers, on a four-year, $14.25 million contract.
The deal includes $7.25 million guaranteed. One of free agency's most aggressive teams has gotten better again. Dietrich-Smith has been one of the league's better centers since taking over for Jeff Saturday down the stretch in 2012, grading out as Pro Football Focus' No. 8 middle man in 2013. He's a major improvement on Jeremy Zuttah, though if there's a knock, it's that EDS is a better pass blocker than road grader.

Fits the mild if getting more athletic.

Really like this signing. I can't believe we are paying our lt and c combined $9 per Shocked

Wonder if Zuttuh bumps over to rg or he is kept as depth guy or dropped?

Ehh don't really care to miss on Smith and Tillman. They were 2 year players anyways.

Tillman probably found out he wouldn't the starting in Tampa.

Meh I would have liked Tillman to take some pressure off Banks, but I think Banks will flourish in this system. All he has to do is play good zone and tackle.

If Zuttah stays he could be our guard. Don't see them paying him 4 mm to be a back up.

This. I could definately see us going after Zachary bowman as our nickel. He's a pretty good one. I read earlier we are outta the running on Thurmond. Between SF, Seattle and Jax.

http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/5885/emmanuel-sanders

Quote:
ESPN reports free agent Emmanuel Sanders may not receive the long-term contract he wants due to medical concerns regarding his feet.
Sanders has a screw in each of his feet and was limited by a foot injury the last two months of 2013. He is reportedly looking for something close to the five-year, $31 million, $13 million guaranteed deal Golden Tate received from the Lions

Wow, I don't know he had robo feet. If he's looking for that type of money maybe it's best we didn't sign him.

This is probably why he hasn't signed anywhere yet. I there is a real concern I can't see anyone handing out that type of cash.

I really hope we pull in late and grab Edleman. Shifty route runner reliable in the slot. That'd be a solid move. I wanted him last year.

I honestly wouldn't mind looking at bringing in Jacoby Ford. Great returner and has that speed we need.

Ehh I know he has speed but I feel like he offers nothing offensively similar to Hester. Not really shifty nor a good route runner. As a return man strictly sure.
