-Thomas
-Bennett

Awful
-Wagner
-Ryan (compared to normal)

By "average," do you mean based on how the player normally plays? So, if player is typically great, average would equal great? I ask because I'm wondering about your thoughts on Russell Wilson's play. I thought he played well--not stupendous--but good. He had a few errant passes--one for a first down to Tate that was somewhat important--but other than that, I don't recall him making bad throws or decisions.

So I'm saying someone played an average game based on what I expect of them. He missed on a seam route to Baldwin that would've been at worst a 40+ yard pass play too

Shoot, I missed that. Sorry.

Yeah, but those are only two slightly off passes he threw (both were technically catchable, but they were definitely not accurate throws)--that I can remember. If that's the worst you can say about a QB--and the QB was fairly productive in other ways (which he was)--I'd say it was a very good game. But, given your standard, I'd agree it was average game for Wilson.

Hard to say it's a very good game when he really didn't make anything happen for our offense. He played like a game mangager on Sunday. I expect more out of Russ at this point

I feel like part of this is a product of the game plan and the play calling, though. The overall game plan seemed to be rather conservative, which isn't a bad thing, in my opinion, particularly if the priority was keeping their defense fresh. I'm not sure he could have done much more, besides changing plays at the line to something more aggressive, or taking more risks in scrambling, employing a more Tarkenton-esque approach. (I don't think the latter would have been wise.)
