Seattle Seahawks vs San Fransisco 49ers/Whiners

What do we want to see in this game? Simple, the man of many faces:

Well, we've got a treat for you tonight

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW!!!!!!!

Hello Jim. Glad we could have you. Unfortunately, you're headset isn't working today so we're going to need you to speak clearly tonight. Fortunately, we have everything we need from Belichick Industries to hear you loud and clear from those sidelines....wayyyy over there. Why are you on the sidelines right now, by the way? You do know the game isn't til Sunday, right?

It's okay, mistakes happen to the best of us.

Where's Aldon going so fast?.....eh,nvm. Anyway, the 49ers fanbase seems to think you guys have a pretty good chance in this game. What do you think, Jim?

As a former Quarterback, isn't there anything your going to do to get Colin Kaepernick ready for this game?

Whatever works. Word is, you aren't the leagues worst passing team any longer. You skyrocketed to 31st. Maybe that Ol' Mojo is working on the guy

But you play the league's #1 pass Defense in the Seahawks

Well, you do have star tight end going for you. Anything you can do to get him to test the seams of the defense this week? Heard he still has nightmares of the hit Bam Bam gave him last year. Don't you think a pep talk is in order or.....uh, jim....jim....I didn't mean now.

Doesn't look like you're getting through to him. But if you can get that kicking game going, you may have a chance to keep it interesting. Goodbye Akers, Hello Phil Dawson amirite?

Yikes. Might wanna get that checked out. On a side note, we've heard your a bigtime fan of film. Word on the streets is Jaws is your favorite flick. Care to share your favorite line/moment from the classic?

I meant an actual character or some dialogue, that's just....awkward.

Alright on that note, it's about time to wrap this one up. Thanks for coming to the interview, we know you've had trouble with showing up CenturyLink so we weren't sure if you'd make it. Sherman will see you out (unfortunately, Baldwin declined....your existence).

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Early Notes

-Niners could be missing their entire left side on the oline in this game with Staley and Iupati nursing knee injuries

-There have been Hints of a Harvin re-return this weekend, reports are he's likely to play.

-Looking for an eighth straight victory, the Seahawks can clinch the NFC West and a first-round bye while trying to avoid a fifth consecutive road defeat to the 49ers.

-The Seahawks have been outscored 109-54 during their four-game skid at Candlestick Park.

-The Seahawks' Marshawn Lynch has totaled five touchdowns in the last two games against the 49ers and averaged 104.8 rushing yards in the last four.

-Vernon Davis has recorded a TD in three straight games, but has four total receptions in the last three against the Seahawks and no touchdowns in his last five meetings

-EARL THOMAS is only NFL player with 80+ tackles (81), 4+ INTs (4) & 2+ FFs (2). Had INT in last meeting

Nice write up. The Baldwin thing made me giggle.

19-13. Four Haushka field goals and a Kearse TD. Who knows how SF gets theirs. But it won't matter

If we contain Gore we should be fine. Kaep won't be able to pass on us. Hopefully Staley and Iupati are out so we can wreck that side lol.

My guess is 24-10 hawks

they send that to us every week.

and yes, we have massive fog horns. they only make noise when we score, so im sure you guys will hear a lot of fog horns this week and in your nightmares all offseason Laughing

staley and iupati being out arent that big of a deal. Boone is a more natural T anyways. Snyder and loony are pretty solid backups who have played well, although im more sold on the former simply because I havent seen too much of the latter.

anyways, ill see you guys out there. Ill be the one who throws an egg or two at your players.

Remember, If we win, it's because:
a) It's our Superbowl
B) All our players were on Steroids
C)We were holding on every single down
D)The refs were calling the game unfairly
E) We're a dirty team

F? All of the above? Razz

I know there's no love lost between these two teams. That doesn't mean I can't come in here and be civil before the game and wish you guys good luck and the obligatory, yet crucial, hoping for no injuries.

Now, during the game, is a whole different story. Wink Luckily, I rarely use the forums on game day. I pause the game while I smoke or use the restroom or whatever, so I'm usually 5-20 minutes behind.

Win or lose, I can't wait for this game!

I don't think we will hear the fog horn or see much Kaepernicking. Lol you wouldnt even be able to hear that fog horn in Seattle with the noise.
