I'm really glad the Vikings got the stadium, I wanted to keep the North intact, but all these years and that's what they come up with? It's awful, it looks like a turtle shell. They just built two very nice stadiums in Minny. Sorry but football stadiums are meant to be bowls and give me bricks over glass any day of the week.

Why are they meant to be bowls Confused

and give me glass over brick 1000 times out of 10. So much better looking. A brick surrounded dome is like a cave. Having glass lets in that awesome natural light and frames the city line. Absolutely the right call to include a lot of glass.

Additionally, it's incredibly smart to make it a multi-purpose venue. There's no good reason not to.

When reached for comment, Vikings majority owner Wario simply cackled maniacally and had this to say.

I like the stadium for the most part. Is that picture of AP going to be in front like that? Because I think that's the part that looks ridiculous, almost like a refrigerator magnet.

We've had this discussion in the Vikings forum. Zygi's resemblance to Wario's estranged partner Waluigi is actually perfection.

I could be completely wrong, but think it's more of a projection on that part of the stadium that would change for different venues, and such. I feel like I read that on a Q&A when the design was unveiled, but not sure.

I cannot wait for the first snow to happen and to be able to see it through the windows, and how great that skyline will look at night games.

Just because its not your average, uber non creative brick stadium doesn't make it look horrible. I think its cool.

I guess this situation is just like jerseys. As soon as a team reveals new jerseys, everyone says they hate them because they aren't "traditional" or whatever, but then soon after everyone loves them.
