For those of you keeping up on that law shenanigans, it has, not surprisingly been dismissed, which should keep the project on schedule.

Just as I said.

Maybe I do have an extensive legal education and experience...now allow me to go figure out the JFK case.

A spokesman for the state’s Management and Budget office, which processes bond sales, couldn’t immediately say when the stadium bonds would be sold now that the legal obstacles have fallen away.

It’s likely to be soon, though Kelm-Helgen said possibly not soon enough to meet several planned payment deadlines. However, she said several contractors working with the state on both the stadium and a related development project have signaled they are open to slightly delayed payments to keep original timelines intact.

Hey, you mind your own business or I will take you to court for defamation, battery against a Jehovah's Witness, and involuntary manslaughter.

1-800-AX-VB1228 for all your legal advice, folks!

Amazing news. Thanks for posting this. Was getting a bit worried after that last report.

Looks like it would have been a good place right now if I were still about 12 years old with my BMX.

The Vikings and Minnesota governor Mark Dayton announced a bid to pursue Super Bowl LII in 2018.

Dayton: “The Super Bowl is the most watched annual event in the world. In addition to game attendees, it brings over 100,000 people to the host community for a weeklong celebration. Hosting the Super Bowl would bring enormous economic benefits to many Minnesota businesses, as well as provide a terrific opportunity to again showcase Minnesota to the world.”

INDIANAPOLIS - Minneapolis has been selected among eight finalists to host the 2017-2020 Men's Basketball Final Fours, the NCAA announced today. The University of Minnesota will serve as host institution as part of the bid, which will announced in November.

"We are extremely excited about the possibility of hosting another NCAA championship in the Twin Cities," said Minnesota director of athletics Norwood Teague. "The University of Minnesota has established an excellent track record as NCAA championship hosts, and as part of the Final Four bid, we are pleased to join in the excitement surrounding the opening of the new stadium in a few years."

The four sites for the national semifinal and championship games will be selected from a field that also includes Atlanta, Indianapolis, New Orleans, North Texas, Phoenix/Glendale, San Antonio and St. Louis. Completed bids are due in May, with the respective committees and staffs spending the summer reviewing each bid before making site visits to each finalist city in August, September and October. Representatives from each finalist city will make in-person presentations to the respective committees during their annual fall meetings in early November 2014 in Indianapolis, followed by the announcement of the winning bids later that month.
