I just looked up Robert Nkemdiche's rookie numbers out of curiosity. I remember reading during the season that Arians was not happy with him, but he ended up playing in 5 games had 1 tackle assist and one pass defended. He's young and is very talented, but so far things are not looking good. _________________ saintsfan on the sig

If the attitude can't get you onto the field, you can't perform. _________________

So TO gets left off, again....but Morten Anderson and Terrell Davis get in? What in the world is that? Wow, hall of fame voting is absolutely atrocious. One of the top 5 greatest wide receivers in history arguably left out to a barely above average field goal kicker who's main claim to fame is just playing a long time, and a running back who was elite for 3 years, but largely only has 4 years of real production along with 3 additional injury marred years. _________________

Yeah, T.O., while better than a lot of the players getting the nod over him has fallen into a Ricky Watters type of situation unfortunately. Both of those guys deserve to be in the HOF based on their on-the-field performances, which is supposedly what they base the voting on, but their attitudes and off-field antics have destroyed their perception. T.O. will get in eventually, Watters....maybe someday. _________________ saintsfan on the sig

I won $500 in the playoff pool from the office. Only missed one playoff game and picked the Pats to beat the Falcons 30-27.
Still was rooting hard for the Falcons . _________________

Feel bad for the guys that took the under at 59 (which was where it was most of the time leading up to the bowl, though it came down). Lots of people were taking the under. And of course overtime and a touchdown and boom, you're at the over. They must have been feeling really good at 28-9 _________________

Feeling under the weather and need to throw up a little but just can't find a way to do it? Here's a 2016 redraft where Buckner and Garnett are both still on the board at our picks. Spoiler alert: we go elsewhere, proving that Baalke doesn't have the worst draft mind on the planet (which is fascinating with the benefit of hindsight!):

Buckner at 19 is hilarious. And 4 quarterbacks still taken despite Goff and Lynch looking atrocious. This is a horrible re-draft...they should be proud _________________

Funny that after watching him play all year they dropped Buckner all the way down to 19. Also, I wanted Whitehair more than Garnett, but as I said a thousand times last year we should have saved our extra picks and just taken whichever of the two of them, or Martin, was still there when our turn rolled around. If they were all still there we should have traded down instead of up. Trent was such a bad draft manager! _________________

Agreed if we were going that route (OL) - but I still liked the idea of keeping that trade up and selecting Myles Jack, who played well when he got the opportunity last year (but for whatever reason, the Jaguars opted not to play a top 5 talent they found in the 2nd round despite appearing healthy). Certainly would have looked even better for this year. _________________

I agree with this too. Trade up for a unique talent or stay put to take one a few very similar guys. _________________
