Time/Venue: 2:25pm MST, Sunday 2nd December, Arrowhead stadium
Coverage: CBS

Match facts:

-Both teams are 9-2, and the winner will not only sit alone at the top of the AFC West, but will have the inside track for the #1 seed in the conference.

-Denver is ranked 2nd in offense this season, compared to Kansas City's 24th

-However the Broncos can only manage 22nd on D, whereas KC will currently rank the 10th best defense in the league.

-Denver is 2-14 all time at Arrowhead stadium in December

-The Broncos are going for their third straight win in Kansas City

-Broncos are 5-2 against the Chiefs this decade, 2-1 in road games.

-The Chiefs, after starting 9-0, are on a 2 game losing streak.

Keys to the game

1. Dontari Poe v Manny Ramirez

Knowshon Moreno had a career day in Boston and a big part of the reason was Ramirez and Vasquez were able to dominate up front against a pair of rookie DT's, however Poe is a different kettle of fish. We need another great game by the big uglies, to get Moreno yards.

2. Von Miller v Eric Fisher

Fisher had one of his better games in the first leg but Von Miller had his best game of the season against the Patriots. If Miller can dominate early then it means KC will need to chip in an extra tight end or full back, and will stop them from being able to use McCluster as a weapon on offense.

3. Dwayne Bowe v Bailey/DRC

Bowe had a decent game at mile high last week, and we need to be hoping DRC is healthy enough to play here. He could have a field day against either Champ, Chris Harris, or Kayvon Webster.

4. Manny Ramirez v the Kansas City Chiefs fans

Second appearance for Manny. Arrowhead is the loudest stadium in the NFL, Manny could struggle to get his line calls out there.

5. And finally, Peyton Manning v the elements

Early forecasts show that Missouri next Sunday should be around the freezing level, Manning needs to have a big game in the cold and prove those doubters wrong.

Analysis

If you haven't figured it out by now, this post is referencing the fact that the game is blacked out.

For those that have Sunday Ticket, or other means of watching the games, and will be joining me....

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Gates "doesn't know how long he can go." He's a dicey TE1 for Week 13, and best left benched if you have a viable alternative. Inactive for the Chargers are LT King Dunlap, WR Eddie Royal, OLB Jarrett Johnson, SS Brandon Taylor, NT Kwame Geathers, OT Willie Smith and QB Brad Sorenson.

It's almost like watching the Special Olympics every time Rivers runs.

They actually benched Cox. Don't know that it's safe to start Marshall, but maybe this will get Cox to step it up in the rare instance they use him correctly.

Just pounding it down our throats... Everyone was worried about Green, I've been more concerned with BJGE and Gio.

Should Green be starting over Brown? Might be best until Floyd comes back, or Gates retires.

Maybe it is starting to click for him. Missing so much time early on definitely hurt his development.

Te'o has looked good today, which is nice. They did say they thought this is when they thought he'd start putting it together because he missed so much time.

Green is a nightmare. I don't even think corners could cover him consistently. Allen, Gates, Green, Woodhead/Mathews, Phillips to block. We're good. Laughing

This Keenan Allen kid is pretty good.

They need to send him to somebody's speed camp. A little bit more speeds, and everybody would be talking about him, not just us.

He's the perfect speed, not too slow and not too fast

He is attending the Philip Rivers Speed School.

At least Keenan isn't a guy who relies on speed. Even if he runs a 4.9, his routes are so slick, he might just get open. Laughing
