sorry but you won't be playing bad defenses every week.

Still any time you can put up nearly 40 points its impressive. No matter who you are playing....the offense clearly has improved since the bye. They are forcing the defense to cover the WHOLE field now, by throwing deep from time to time. Last week against Denver the receivers dropped those deep throws, today the didn't. If we get Hali and Houston back we don't have to have a great offense. Just one capable of scoring 24 points or so.

Lol mannnn here we go. When we score 24 points all we here is how bad our offense is. Now we finally light up a team and that's because they are a bad defense? Sorry but the last time I checked, SD held Manning to the same point total as we did. They have some play makers back there as we do.

Please tell. I'd like to know who they are besides Weddle.

Don't mind him, he's just an Alex Smith hater.

Big difference between great players and play makers. If you can't figure them out then that's your problem. Hope you're enjoying your 6-4 season btw.

So, the Chargers scored 38 points in the final 31 minutes of the game today.

Houston went out with 32 minutes left in the game.

So if Houston is out next week does that mean you should just forfeit the game? KC defense is still really good. It isn't all pass rush. Yes, pass rush opens up the door but it's not like the other guys are scrubs.

might as well...no chance without hali and houston.

My bad guys, this loss is on me. I wore my damn cursed Berry jersey, I thought I'd be cool since we lost last week, but no. I am never, ever, EVER wearing that jersey on game day again

don't even worry about what Mike Nolan..... Imean steady has to say the guy is the biggest smith hater round these parts. Just really blinded by his hate I'd Alex to appreciate the skill set he brings to a team.

looks like you're offense is starting to clique at the right time. Alex threw some beautiful passes deep, intermediate. nice touch passes it was a very bakanced showing. and with that run game and screen pass game you guys will give Denver s run for there money next week.

wish we had a qb that was able to diagnose defenses at the los not lick into one target. I enjoyed watching Alex look through his progressions and finding a open man. aj Jenkins with s catch hopefully he turns the corner.

You won't be playing good defenses every week either. Look at the balance today. Chiefs ran and passed very effectively. I was impressed. Alex Smith has the Andy Reid system down.

Hali and Houston will definitely be out next week I think.

Houston's elbow popped out, thats an injury that takes a few weeks, and Hali has a mid-ankle sprain. Again a few weeks.

Will be interesting to see how it plays out, really gonna have to rely on the offense now. Defense will be able to gameplan without so it'll be interesting to see what Sutton does. Definitely gonna have to get creative.

why in the world did we call a timeout there???

Andy wanted to see what personnel they had on the field, then he called a timeout to switch the play. I think he should've said until the play clock counted down a bit more, but whatevs.

this whatevs right here cost us the game. Absolutely no reason to give them the ball with any time left unless we ran the ball in on 1st down. We had 3 TOs, and a guaranteed FG to tie the game even if we didn't score. You have to force them to call their TOs.
