Tyrann Mathieu needs to play more disciplined in zone coverage, you can see him pressing, trying to create plays and we saw the result of poor discipline in coverage on Sunday when he was responsible for the blown coverage that led to a 62 yard TD on 4th down. Mathieu, responsible for a deep third on the play, free lanced towards the flat (Following the eyes of Henne) despite the fact that Daryl Washington was already in a good position to make a play on any throw to that area. He needs to do his job, trust in the system and make the plays that come his way.

Patrick Peterson was actively thrown at in coverage 3 times in this game and allowed one reception. I have also recorded him as the man that should have been responsible for noticing Clay Harbor hovering on the sideline on the play that he was wide open, almost as if the Cardinals did not even know he was on the field. He needs to notice these things.

Yeremiah Bell had a solid game in coverage. As long as we give him simple responsibilities, keep him in zone coverage, and don't put him in matchup nightmares like 1 v 1 with Jimmy Graham we are going to see performances that you don't notice. Which in my book is fine from a guy who is "the last line of defense"

Daryl Washington was overall very impressive against the Jaguars, he made one key play in coverage knocking the ball away and was in position to make others if need be, he really has developed a complete game, he is a huge asset to this defense.

Jerraud Powers was quiet, he made an INT on a very poorly thrown ball by Henne, he did what was asked most of the time. Not a guy who is going to jump out of the screen with big plays either for or against.

Jacksonville are in love with WR screens.
