Three Bronco players are currently top vote-getters at their position in the Pro Bowl ballot.
No surprise that the top QB is Peyton Manning (654,309 votes). Drew Brees is second.
Top OG? Zane Beadles has 108,105 votes.
The third player topping the vote is David Bruton for special team (75,118 votes).

Second highest vote getters are Julius Thomas (TE), Trindon Holliday (PR), and Manny Ramirez (C). That gives Broncos with six players likely to be pro bowlers.

Chiefs have 7 players in first or second place.

This exact thing happened last year. Does Beadles have a cult following or something?

Well it helps when Johnny votes 25 times a day.

If Beadles makes the pro bowl again this year, it will confirm my suspicion that this dude has invested thousands of thousands of dollars on full time employees voting 24/7 on the pro bowl ballot.

Def worth the investment cos some team is going to pay for his resume and not actual performance.

Def worth the investment cos some team is going to OVERpay for his resume and not actual performance.

It's pretty obvious the voting needs to be taken with a grain of salt. Nothing new there.

OL voting is a great example. Beadles the top OG in the league? Please! Not even the top OG on this team.

Manny the 2nd best OC? Look, I'm a Manny fan but is he really that good in just his 1st year at the position?

Chris Clark the #4 OT? Come on, be serious. I've said before IMO he's probably the best backup OT in the league. Does that make him top 5?

Anyway, those are just a few examples. I think the voting each year is good for a laugh, but rarely to be taken seriously.

This is what happens when one media member (Phil Simms) makes positive comments last year about an offensive lineman, people remember that name and assume he's always playing at a high level. Since very few people understand o-line play, it's understandable.

Beadles has been below-average this year, not bad but below-average. Not playing next to Clady hasn't helped his cause.

Louis Vasquez has been, by far, the lineman on the team this year, Manny Ramirez and Orlando Franklin are the second best.

Peyton, Knowshon, J. Thomas, Welker, Vasquez, Woodyard, Knighton, Harris, Bruton, Holiday and Prater deserve to be getting Pro Bowl votes. Von can sneak in by having a strong second half of the season.

I think D Thomas should get some votes the wrs outplaying him a.j green obviously, Andre Johnson, Antonio Brown, Wes Welker. And the last three are close IMO. Welker is more consistent as well as brown but Thomas makes sporadic phenomenal plays.

I agree. Beadles is very good when pulling out to block but he loses too often when blocking a DT. I'd grade him as an average OG, not pro bowler.

Part of the reason may be from not having Clady beside him, part might be from the OL scheme of offensive line coach Dave Magazu who likes power blocking, and some might be due to the recent trend in the NFL of DEs attacking more from the inside of OTs.

Louis Vasquez has been a rock at RG. He deserves a pro bowl appearance.

Maybe Philip Blake will be tried at LG if Beadles signs with another team. Blake busted as a center but he has the size and strength to be a guard.
