Hey Guys, I need your help.

I'm one of the three Lions Forum Moderators, and recently we have all been informed of the devastating news that one of our best veteran posters, Stylish313, has been diagnosed with terminal cancer around the same time of the birth of his 4th son last month. All of his 4 boys are very young. The cancer started in his stomach, and has spread to his lungs. It's stage 4, and while they had him sedated to try to do what they could, they're waking him up enough so that he can communicate because there's nothing left they can do for him.

You can get a full update on the story and his status in the Lions Forum.

I'm going to visit him in the hospital in a day or two. I'd like to have an opportunity to share with him how much love and support can come out of his FootballsFuture family. Please take a moment out of your day to drop by the Lions forum and share a post that I can read to him while visiting him in the hospital. A kind word, a memory of him on the forum, anything you think that will boost his spirits. It's a rough time for him and his family, and every little show of support will do a lot to boost his morale and give him strength to fight this cancer.

Check out the Stylish313 thread here.

Just so everyone knows, Stylish313 (Glen) was laid to rest today. His mom sent me a message this morning and said that he looked very peaceful. She felt comfortable knowing that he's no longer in pain.

I'll write up some stuff about Stylish313 sometime soon. We'll have a full time memorial thread stickied at the top of the Lions Forum for him. We'll also add a Stylish313 award to the Lionys (or something similar) that LionsFTW will help me with.

On behalf of the Lions Forum I'd like to thank all of you who have stopped by to support Stylish313, his family, and his fellow Lions Forum posters. Thanks, guys.

Thanks for the info, sorry that he has passed away, but if that is what needed to happen in order to put an end to his pain, maybe it's for the best. Hopefully his family will be able to begin down the path toward recovery and can once again get on with their lives. It is nice what you are doing for him, continued best wishes.

Percy Harvin is running at a different speed then anyone else in the field of play. Overall, what a beat down.

Interestingly, the Broncos will be 2-5 in Super Bowls. Pretty impressive to get there that many times. However, they have endured some epic beat downs in their history.

It amazes me how unprepared a team can look for a Superbowl. Even the Raiders made some plays early on.

In today's NFL, it is such an advantage to have a mobile QB. He can make a defense pay for not staying in rushing lanes and can keep plays alive. The pocket QB isn't extinct, but he better have elite skill level to survey the field and have a pretty darn good o-line in front of him.

Yep. But the only reason I'd be hesitant with that move: injury prone. Never going to have him a full season.

Soo Russel Wilson just won the Superbowl....am I the only one who thinks the Seahawks are about to get gutted?

He will for sure get an extension this offseason, probably very close to what Flacco got

Also correct me if I'm wrong but isn't Sherman playing under his rookie contract still? Would not surprise me if he demanded an extension and after Revis set a new standard for best CB's, Sherm will demand some mad chunk of change.

Just those 2 will tear up the Seahawks cap...

Also Kap over in San Fran about to do the same thing..

Well let's just say this. Earl thomas is the best safety inthe game. Sherman best cb.

Their gm has to hate mark dominik right now for the ludicrous money we gave Revis and goldson bc it's going to suck paying their guys. An elite cb isn't worth 16 mm. Idc who the player is. I'd cut it down by 5 mm.

Thomas should get 8 mm a year as a safety. But it's going to suck bc he's 10xx the player of goldson. Obviously his agent will strive for more.

And Russell Wilson is an elite franchise qb. Will he put up crazy elite numbers? Idk. But he's a playmaker that makes the clutch throws to win ball games and always drives defenses crazy.

Seattle shouldn't be worried. You look at that team and they draft well who picks up bargain and value free agents. They're a dynasty with that core in tact.

Watching that "dunk contest" made me embarrassed for the NBA.

Im a big Pacers fan, so I was pulling for Paul George, but I don't think its as much the players fault as it is the NBA's. The format sucks. The NBA seems to try something new every year and messes it up more and more. I know they want fan interaction, but in my opinion the best way to do it is have 6 participants that get narrowed down to 4 after 1 dunk, 2 after 2 dunks and then have the last 2 guys face off for the Dunk Contest Title. 3 competent judges should judge the whole way.
