Can't remember the last time I thought we'd win the battle of the trenches with Pittsburgh, but I think we destroy them there.

Big Ben is going to get knocked out of the game. They still got Charlie Batch? Laughing

The Dline needs to take advantage of how long Ben holds onto the ball.

The have a relatively good Pass D but poor Run D. We need to take advantage of that. Run the ball and control the clock. I have heard that Ryan Clark is terrible this year and Polamalu is overrated as all hell though. Maybe we can exploit that.

Their running game is week with Bell at the helm but any game is up for grabs with Big Ben. He knows how to win even with poor weapons and a terrible Oline.

Really comes down to our Dline creating pressuring and taking down Ben and our offense controlling the clock.

I think we win easily. Lions 24 Steelers 9

If we're deserving of a playoff spot, these are games we must win. No excuses.

Absolutely.

We are in the driver seat right now in the North. Lets see how this team responds and steps up to the plate.

CHI was a nice win on the road. Lets keep it rolling.

Well, of course, it goes without saying that we need GB permission for the win. Gotta give credit where credit is due. Confused

I'm pretty excited for this game. It will be my first ever Lions road game I have attended. I'm confident, but Pitt has been improving, but their DBs are pretty awful.

So much this. Roesthlisberger doesn't know when to just throw it away, and we need to punish him for that. Our DL can't let him run and they need to beat up their OL (which is already beat up). Our DE's need to keep contain because the Steelers would be smart to try reverses with Antonio Brown and Emmanuel Sanders. In the red zone we need to cover Cotchery because he has been very good at scoring for them. Other than that they aren't really a threat. Their defense has been bad and their running game hasn't been that great.

Like last week, our defensive line can win us this game.

Hopefully not a trap game. We need to get Big Ben, but look when we played Arizona, they had horrible o line and we didn't do anything.

Arizona is a 5-4 team. I don't think there's any shame in losing to them.

Roethlisberger wary of Lions' defensive tackles

Quote:
ALLEN PARK, Mich. Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has a reputation for holding on to the football a little longer, trying to make a big play, even at the expense of taking some big hits.

But he admits his approach might have to be a little different this week with Ndamukong Suh and Nick Fairley, the Detroit Lions' one-two punch in the middle of the defensive line, coming to town.

"You've got to be careful," Roethlisberger said Wednesday during a conference call with Detroit reporters. "You'll end up dead if you're not careful."

I hope this is a good game, but I am not going to lie, the Lions have everything in their favor.

Hopefully both teams get out of this game injury free. Good Luck gents.
