Maybe I don't have all the context...but are you blaming your GM for signing/picking a guy who got hurt and is going on IR? _________________

Injury problems before he was drafted, and had them almost every year since being drafted. I might be wrong, but he's had maybe 2 healthy years out of 6. _________________

I disagreed with giving him the size contract he got... but it was market for a starting LT. _________________

Good riddance, he's been a liability all season. Ridiculous that we gave him so much money just to be injured or incompetent. _________________ formerly MadAtFalcons

Apparently if we cut Sam Baker we will take some pretty large cap hits. Terrible decision by TD to extend him. _________________

Welcome to the Falcons forum!
Hopefully this gives him to get 100% healthy and rebound to 2012 form. If we don't draft a LT, he should compete with Lamar Holmes for the job in 2014. _________________

If I'm not mistaken, his contract is ranked exactly 16th in terms of size for LTs (according to Sportrac). In 2012, he was about the 16th best LT, so it makes sense. _________________

yeah. exactly. that's what I was saying. He got a starting LT contract for him being a starting LT. _________________
