http://fox4kc.com/2013/11/12/chiefs-wide-receiver-dwayne-bowe-arrested-for-speeding-possession/

Bowe was speeding doing 48mph in a 35mph zone. The driver was Bowe. Bowe had pot in the car. So far though.. he was not charged as UNDER the INFLUENCE. Only possession.

More news surely coming.

my initial reaction is I'm extremely disappointed in Bowe's judgement here.

Listen.. IMO this is not a huge deal morally ok.. but there has to.. HAS TO... be a smarter time and place.

Bah! Sad

3 Things.

1. Why is this not all over SI or ESPN's website at least.

2. I would run a 2 tight end set with Duck Dyanasty and Fasano and Bench Bowe.

3. Bowe has been terrible this season, and if we can win without him all of his backers who think he has still managed to help out our team win wont be able to back him anymore. Which I think can and will happen.

I'll disagree with 3. While his receiving stats are down his blocking and overall teamwork have been great. Obviously we want him to catch more passes/yards/TDs. But I'm sticking to my Alex Smith is limited and loves TEs and RBs more than WR story.

Perhaps old habits or attitudes creeping back in. Hope not....we certainly do not need negative distractions now.

Further reflection.....this really pisses me off. What the h--- are you thinking. Is it STILL just all about ME for this kid?? My guess is he hasn't' seen the inside of a dog house till he sees Andy's. At least I hope that's the case. Idiot!!!!

I wouldn't say Alex Smith is limited, but rather it's a new QB-WR relationship and with some it takes more time than others.

Plus Bowe draws the primary DB coverage in every game as well.

I wouldn't worry about his production or lack there of, yet... Get into the playoffs and see if he steps up at the big moments.

Dropkick....I respectfully disagree with your assessment. I'd like to see some of that production PRIOR to playoff games. Wouldn't you like to know how fast your car is BEFORE the race than learn it won't perform during the race???

Just sayin..... I need production yesterday out of Bowe, and sure some of it may be O schemes or Alex, or what ever, but I'd sure like to SEE production than HOPE it will be there when we need it.

Man, a few mph less and wouldn't have even gotten pulled over, that can just be the difference of going downhill.

Very disappointing. Doubt too much comes of it, given the specific circumstances, but he should know better than this.

Nick Wright saying no chance Bowe gets suspended, so pretty much I don't care about this at all.

Not to jump the gun, but I wonder if there is wording in his contract about this type of thing. Seems to be becoming more the norm that guarantees and other aspects can get dumped when rules are broken.

This is just questionable decision making, speeding, whatever it is what it is, many of us have done it. Having weed in your vehicle is just flat out stupid...even if it turns out that it wasn't his.

What, is he using the Carmelo Anthony defense..."It wasn't my glove box Your Honor " ?
