Free agent WR Brad Smith will sign with PHI today pending a physical according to a team source. Nice fit for Chip Kelly's surging team

I'm sure Chip can find some use for him.

Eagles signed Brad Smith to a two-year deal. So more than a 6-game rental.

Not a bad signing....on a semi-related note what the hell happened to Damaris?

Fell out of favour. Must not have been putting the effort in on the practice field as you would expect Damaris to be right up Kelly's street.

Interesting.

Could also give us a wildcat option if Chip wants to run some read option with him.

Hope he can be a good returner. We deserve that.

Return man only IMO. Fine with it, as our starting field position has been average at best, all season long.

Meh.

I was going to make a statement about siging too many players that Chip will "find a use for" but we just saw Goode fill in for a majority of ILB snaps when Kendricks went down and we saw an entire game with Roc as a starter. We're also only a couple weeks removed from a Jeff Maehl TD....

Great signing!! He should be scoring TDs in a week or two.

That and his ineffectiveness as a returner/receiver. He will most likely be cut in place of Smith or after the seson

Wolff might go on short term IR.

Possible that Earl Wolff goes on short-term IR with designation to return. Howie Roseman said Wolff likely to be out several weeks.

No we don't. Curtis Marsh was re-signed.
