Bengals need a safety, but will probably wait till round three or later, given their recent draft history.

Good selection for the Panthers, it hits a secondary need for us.

We might stick closer to our bigger needs though, which is OL and WR, which makes Lee and Richardson better options.

The Vikings pick makes a lot of sense, I like it. I wish there was a good stop-gap starter available though.

I don't see us taking a S until late in the draft, honestly. Iloka is penciled in as our starting SS, with Williams as the back up. Nelson is under contract until 2016 and is our starting FS. Mays should hopefully be re-signed, which would bring us up to four safeties, three which will garner considerable playing time. We always draft towards STs at the end, though, so a S is always likely past round four.

In this scenario, I would go Ifo. Kyle Van Noy or Vic Beasley are two others I would consider, I like their potential ability to play SLB in our system, with the ability to move to RE when we go to coverage packages.

Burfict - Maualuga - Beasley
Porter - Rey - Harrsison

Solid group, with four of the six players on rookie contracts.

Have you forgotten about Emmanuel Lamur? Or do you not think he makes the team? He was essentially a starter before he got hurt.

That's for sure.

Personally I would like Watkins there if that's how the draft went down.

Just trying to think who I'd rather have over Lewan at that juncture of the draft... pretty tough call...
