Will he be ready to play the Giants?

Or are they going to prep him for the MN game in two weeks?

good move for GB, he has had success in the past and really should be the Packers long-term backup.

Why uh oh? The Packers badly need QB help since the only healthy QB on their roster is Scott Tolzein, and he knows Mike McCarthy's system already. While his confidence is pretty much shot due to failure to secure a starting QB spot, I don't think this is a bad signing at all. Probably won't start this week, though.

McCarthy said Tolzien will be the starter after yesterday's game.

yep

For 2nd week in a row down to 1 healthy QB forces us to sign another one to the 53 man roster.

First we used up the guy on our P.S., next best option is a guy who was in our system for 4 years.

Makes sense.

He's being brought in because he knows our system and we only have one healthy signal caller in Tolzien. He won't be starting over Tolzien unless T completely falls on his face.

Wallace to IR is almost a given as the corresponding move.

i'm just wondering what happens next...

When Tolzien goes down - Harrell?
When Flynn goes down - Young?

Then back to Rodgers?
