He's on the wrong side of 30. He seems to be banged up all the time. Clearly wasnt 100% today and it really hurt us.

I think it will be the end of his era unless he takes a FS role.

He's battling a groin injury, as I've stated a million times over the last few weeks, groin injuries linger. He will ultimately be fine. Just won't be anything resembling 100% the rest of this year.

Part of having multiple different lingering injuries is a result of getting older...He really has took a turn for the worst this season, I think it would be incredibly wise to explore a move to FS... Although If he can't stay healthy at CB theres not a chance he would at FS either.

Exactly. If Tillman moves to FS he will be playing in the box more taking on TE's, FB's and RB's. Throw a few mega collisions over the middle and a move to FS would only accelerate his physical decline. Love Tillman but its time to move on after this season.

No…the guy is banged up and playing on a defence that is missing some major parts…mostly in the one area that no CB wants there to be a lack of talent at…on the Dline.

Why does it matter? Jerry Angelo did such a good job of reloading on defense between 2004 and 2011.

Oh wait...

He is probably never going to be a #1 CB again and could use a move to safety.

I think he can still play, but I voted done because I do not think he will be Charles Tillman shut down Pro Bowler again.

"Tillman to safety" annoys me to no end, mainly because it's so easier said than done. A lot of investment has to go into the CB position for that to work, and I just don't see that happening considering how awful the defensive line has been.

Resign Jennings.
Sign/Draft a CB instead of a safety.
Move Tillman.

I don't know if he has the legs to be a top CB anymore.

Frey is also playing well. He could be an outside guy for us.

He's injured right now a healthy Tillman is still good. I think he has a year left but a cb is a top draft need.

My biggest issue is that he seems to be getting nicked up more and more. That happens with age and he's not getting any younger. We seem to need another CB ready at all times for not if, but when he comes out.

I think we have some CBs on the roster who could play and looked good in the preseason so that's good but I think we need to strongly consider moving on from Tillman unless he's willing to come back on the cheap.

Some team will probably overpay for him. I don't think he's worth a big contract.

That is my fear. Some team will pay him and we need to do the smart thing and move on.

I wish he would get the oppurtunity to retire a Bear.
