I don't disagree...Shaw would be my top choice but apparently he'd be almost impossible to coax away from Stanford.

There are two positives that can come from all of this turmoil.
1. Jeff Ireland gets fired-finally!!
2. Jonthan Martin is no longer a part of the Fins

It is not often I look at a player and just grow angry. The last time was Ted Ginn. If you all remember I hated that guy. I diagnosed he was not the answer when he got dominated at the point of attack consistently. If this incident expedites what we already know, great.

Pretty much..

Here's an article I read about him earlier this year.

http://bleacherreport.com/articles/1784553-stanfords-david-shaw-says-hes-not-tempted-by-the-nfl-and-why-should-he-be

Doubt he leaves Stanford in the near future.

Was reading Omar's twitter a bit today and saw an interesting idea. Someone mentioned bringing in Jason Taylor as the next GM sort of like how the Broncos brought in Elway. I have no idea if this is something JT would want to do or that Ross would consider, but I was wondering what you all think of the idea

bad idea, not comfortable keying the keys to someone with no exp. Elway hasnt shown anything yet either, hes basically just been using players that were already there and lucked into manning.

Id rather go with pioli whos been proven to bring in good talent.

Jeff Ireland's phone number / fax number / email was put up on twitter. Called it and it's legit. Should be fun for him when he gets to the office tomorrow.

One of the worst ideas I've ever heard from Omar, and that's saying something. Elway has been fine but JT is a camera-hungry pretty boy.

Poor Jeff. The WAARF guys on Twitter have been having a ball with this for the last hour.
