Rams

VS

Colts

The New Kid

Ray Rice: Hey guys! Looks like we have a new fantasy premier running back in the house!

Chris Johnson: Yeah! He's a rockstar like US now!

Law Firm: Yeah, he's no Doug Martin though.

Martin: Owwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww I hurt!

Ray: So, new guy, how long of a shelf life do you have?

Stacy: Shelf life?

Sproles: Yeah, you know, that point where you start to become Darren-2-points

Ray: Or Ray-Ray 1-point

Martin: Or Dougie Fresh-to-the-IR

Law Firm: But it's all good though. If it hadn't been for fantasy, and my big name, I wouldn't be a...big name.

Voice: SILENCE!

Ray: Uh-oh, his holiness is here.

Sproles: JUDGEMENT!

AP: WHO HATH COMETH TO SEEITH ME...ITH?

Stacy: Um...it is I, Your Grace, Zac Stacy.

AP: Oh yes, that guy that everyone has picked up from the waiver wires. It seems once again the Rams have a relevant running back.

Schotty: YEAH WE DO! I'm going to use him in sooooo many 4 WR's sets as a blocker!

AP: SILENCE! BE GONE! SHONN GREENE WARRRNNNED ME OF YOU!

Stacy: So, what do I have to do to be a member of the club?

AP: FIRST, YOU MUST BRING ME A HAM SANDWICH.

Stacy: Umm...okay.

AP: BUT NOT JUST ANY HAM SANDWICH. ONE THAT IS FROM ROB RYAN'S LUNCHBOX!

Sproles: OUCH! Good luck with that one, man.

AP: SECOND, YOU MUST HAVE 3 STRAIGHT WEEKS OF DOUBLE DIGIT NUMBERS.

Ray: HA! Yeah right...

AP: THIRD, YOU MUST FIND A NEW OFFENSIVE STRATEGY FOR THE RAMS.

Martin: Man, why not just have him resurrect Vince Lombardi during a ritual? That'd be easier.

And so Zac Stacy set forth on his quest

At the house of Rob Ryan

Stacy: hmmm....it's gotta be around here somewhere.

Stacy: AHA! The lunchbox!

Stacy: I'll just move this bottle of Jack Daniels out of the way, and...

BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRBBBBBBBBRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEBBBBBBBBBRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEE DANGER DANGER THEFT OF SACRED NECTAR IN PROGRESS!

Ryan: WHADDYA DINK *HICCUP* UR DOIN????!!!!

Stacy: OH NO! IT'S KENNY ROGERS!

Ryan: HA HA VERY FUNNY! TIME TO DIE PUNK!

Stacy: I got the sandwich!

Ryan: I GOT MA SHOTGUN AND A CASE OF BEER! YER GUNNA DIE!

And so Stacy barely escaped with his life, narrowly avoiding gunblasts and defensive schemes. He brought forth the sandwich to AP, who awarded him 5 fantasy points.

Big Ben: Yo, AP, how come you never award me fantasy points every time I roofie a sorority girl? All this punk did was steal a sandwich!

And so Stacy set forth on his next mission, the double digit numbers. But not before he had to explain his strategy to offensive coordinator Brian Schottenheimer.

Stacy: Okay, so here is my plan. Step 1, hand me the ball. Step 2, repeat step 1. Step 3, if I do poorly we throw the ball. If I do really well and we get a first down, you might want to try this thing called "play action." That's where you fake handing the ball to me, and then throw it deep to someone really fast. Maybe someone like...Chris Givens? Or if he's not open, maybe that overpaid tight end that's got some talent? Or how about that guy the team traded up for?

Schotty: ....so...you're saying, I need to implement Kellen Clemens more and more in this offense? But TELL people that I'm gonna implement more Tavon Austin? And perhaps more of you?

Stacy: Well...we might be getting somewhere here. Okay, it's 1st and 10, what play do you run?

Schotty: I hand it to you and have you go up the gut.

Stacy: GOOD! Okay, it's 3rd and ONE, what do you do?

Schotty: 4 wide shotgun set, deep bomb to Austin Pettis.

Stacy: NO! BAD! Let's try this again. It's 3rd and FOUR in a very serious moment in the game. What play do you run?

Schotty: I let Kellen be Kellen, have him throw a pass to a defensive back, and let our defense win the game for us by turning the other team's running back into a superstar! I R SO SMERT!

Stacy: ....man oh man oh man...you are so hopeless.

[b]Meanwhile, at a cemetery

Stacy: ARISE VINCE LOMBARDI! Come claim what is yours! NOW-...dangit Martin, you're banging the drum wrong.

Martin: So...do I call him a zombie, or a walker, or a BITER?

Sproles: Call him COACH!

Lacy: I can't wait to meet him!

Stacy: A vortex!

Martin: WOW, so raising Vince from the dead REALLY was easier than teaching Schotty to be competent!

Landry: Whoa...where am I?

Stacy: Vince?

Landry: No, Tom.

Stacy: MARTIN YOU IDIOT YOU BROUGHT THE WRONG ICONIC HAT!

Schotty: Hey there, wanna play quarterback from the St. Louis Rams?

Landry: Brrrraaaaiiinnnnnnsssssssss

Schotty: Oh man, I am just salivating over here, you are PERFECT for the job!

I for one have enough time vested in this team that I will be watching this game - even if Clemens is our starter.

I'll watch it on rewind. Have a pick-up game scheduled for Sunday. Laughing

Don't worry. Sean Payton would pass the ball in a Tornado.

But would he do it in a Sharknado?

Good game day thread as always..

I'll be watching the game just cause I can't help it. On defense, our Dline could have a big day. That's of they throw the ball. Trent Richardson, who rarely gets 4 yards per carry will probably have 175 yards rushing. If they pass a lot, I see hilton with 100+ and a couple touchdowns. Maybe DHB can burn us for a long one. Someone not the colts is bound to gave a career day lol

I expect a large dose of Zach Stacy this week, and I guess every other week from here on out also.

This is going to be a tough one to watch, but hopefully keep it close.

Watched playbook and they pointed out, yet again, all the passes Clemons missed. Tavon had potential for a HUGE game. Was open numerous times. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-network-playbook/0ap2000000278397/Playbook-Rams-vs-Colts

Got a good feeling about this one boys. Colts might have the Luck, but we have cool Mr. Clemens!

My best friend is a Colts fan, and we bet a horribly high amount of money on this game. I should have never done it, but I will lose my money before I lose my pride and faith in the Rams.

No. I thought you weren't watching us as long as Clemens was the QB.
