If he can become an elite WR, he's got "face of the NFL" potential. Just a good kid who loves what he does. Very likable and marketable player.

So glad I took him on the CP bet.

Supplemental Draft is tomorrow. I would throw a 7th at Darius Lipford

When it comes to regular season games and the postseason, there is a high demand for NFL tickets. Websites like Stub Hub make millions of dollars every year buying and re-selling tickets for NFL games. But when it comes to the preseason games, tickets are available for pennies on the dollar.

But the best news for Vikings fans is that their fans will be able to get inside the stadium cheaper than any other fans in the NFL.

The average price for the Raiders and Cardinals games at The Bank will be just $27, which is well below the average of the next lowest teams – the Cleveland Browns ($32.71) and the Buffalo Bills ($32.94).

Why? Pass rushing SLB type... and we've got a bunch of LBs competing for spots already.

I would rather use a 7th on LaKendrick Ross. We are thin at DT and he's got an extremely unique blend of size and athleticism.

He's 6'4" and 360 pounds but can dunk a basketball. He's got a a freakish 7 foot wingspan and benched 225 pounds 47 times. Scary.

I wouldn't waste a pick on any supplemental draft player. The relevant ones have been few and far between. For every Josh Gordon (who clearly is still having problems), there are more players like Harvey Unga or Jeremy Jarmon (in other words, irrelevant).

Ross is in the supplemental because he's now been declared academically ineligible at 2 schools.

So he's not the brightest. Don't think it matters to much when you're a gigantic freak of nature Wink

Kinda kidding. Odds are that he never plays a snap. But looking at our 7th rounders this year.... Im left feeling that Ross has just as much potential.

Well, you don't have to worry about wasting a pick on any of them now...since none of them were even drafted.

I feel like the supplemental draft is one of the most overrated aspects of the NFL offseason by fans.

Why? Nobody treats it like a big deal. It's not.

True. I think the most overrated aspects are, by far, the OTAs. Wink

In case you missed last week’s series debut, we had this idea: create a series of posts based on events in the past and imagine how they might have “blown up Twitter,” as the kids like to say, if Twitter had been around then.

We decided a fun one would be the 1967 Vikings, who went 3-8-3 — yes three wins, eight losses, three ties — in Bud Grant’s first season as head coach. This absolutely would have happened. Don’t deny it:

Guy who thinks he knows about football because he played in middle school: I don’t like the tackling angles Eller and Marshall are taking. Not sure these guys are going to pan out. #busts

In their first football-related announcement in a while, the Vikings said today that they have waived defensive end Spencer Nealy and replaced him on their 90-man roster with tight end Mike Higgins.
