I'd like to see K-Will back on that D-line. Even if he fills in as a rotational substitute, he's got game.

One very important aspect to Kevin Williams, he's 6'5" 325 lbs or so . . . he may not move like he once did, but he'd be one injury away from having the chance to earn his way back to another Pro-Bowl.

My feeling is you can never have too many guys you can trust to play.

Right now, there are 2 D-linemen I trust to play well . . . Robison and Griffen. I believe Joseph and Flyod will be there . . . other than them, I can't say I have a lot of faith in the depth at DT, mainly because they're unproven and Fred Evans is the only one with vet experience.

Williams signed with Seattle on 1 year deal.

Also, Joseph is very proven. One of the best big bodied DTs in the game.

A pair of clubs have reportedly taken a look at a former Dolphins offensive tackle.

Will Yeatman, who was not tendered by Miami as a restricted free agent, has met with the Texans and Vikings this week, Aaron Wilson of National Football Post reported Friday.

He's the Spielman daily double as he played for the Dolphins and also attended Notre Dame. Laughing

Plus, if he has interest, the Swarm can also snatch him up.

It is odd, but he did start out as a TE, so it's not unlikely that he could have started at those positions.

Today the Minnesota Vikings signed a veteran wide out to replace Lestar Jean who was waived/cut due to an injury.

The team signed Josh Cooper who was recently with Norv Turner on the Cleveland Browns. This is a very solid signing, because the Vikings were planning on a big role for Jean before his injury.

Finally have the full roster updated (just waiting on Josh Cooper's contract).

The Vikings announced that they have signed wide receiver Josh Cooper to their 90-man roster. Cooper, 25, had previously been with the Browns, who originally signed him as an undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma State in 2012. He played 11 games for the Browns over two NFL seasons, catching 17 passes for 166 yards with no touchdowns. The Browns released Cooper, who is listed at 5-foot-10 and 190 pounds, last month. To make room on the roster, the Vikings put wide receiver Lestar Jean, who signed with the team in April, on injured reserve. He was waived/injured on Thursday.

The Vikings have 11 wide receivers on their roster heading into next week's mandatory minicamp.

The average age of the starters on the Indianapolis Colts offense is 24.86 (excluding the 38 yr old clipboard holder Matt Hasselbeck). On their defense, it's 28.45. A Colt's writer did the math on twitter and inspired me to do the same for the Vikes.

FWIW, I'm counting Bridgewater and Barr as rookie starters. For the "starters" using 11 personnel (1 RB and 1 TE) w/ 3 WRs. I'm using our base 4-3 defense w/ 3 linebackers: Cole, Greenway, and Barr.

Offense average age: 26.45 years
Defense average age: 25.34 years

Those are good numbers. I like our mix of veterans and young guys.

Interesting note, Teddy Bridgewater is our youngest "starter" on offense at 21 and Shariff Floyd is our youngest starter on defense at 22.

Floyd is so young, so it may be unfair to have had such high expectations of him last year. Geno Atkins had only 10 total tackles and 3 sacks as a rookie at age 22. I know some of us are skeptical and have tempered our hopes for his development, but his youth + Zimmer's coaching are incredibly promising.

Same goes for Teddy and Turner. New QB who is talented, smart, and quite young, with an established OC who is experienced, flexible, smart, and looking to be more innovative. Those factors seem to indicate a great pairing.

Our favorite Rams poster ranks us as the worst team in the NFL.

All you have to do is read this sentence and know all you need to know.

you have to remember this piece is all opinion and no fact

He provides absolutely no basis for his argument other than pure speculation and hyperbole. My personal opinion is that was a waste of time for him to even write if he's not going to provide any actual factual basis for his argument.
