Why such big words in the title of this post? I am lost.

Does no one see the irony of NFL teams gloating about how wonderful their locker room dynamics are in light of what's happening in Miami?

I dont think you can call it propoganda. More of a juxtaposition to illustrate that not every locker room is like Miami's.

Propaganda is a really strong word. Definatley doesnt apply here.

It's just the team playing the PR game. This all comes down from the business side of the organization - Joe Ellis and VP of communications Jim Saccomano.

Is it nakedly self-serving and utterly transparent? Yes. But that's the corporate model, the model with which the vast majority of professional sports teams operate, for you.

If General Motors was facing a scandal, (faux or legitimate) that was getting over-hyped by a shameless media, then Ford would come out with a press release, video, some sort of PR response that they have no such scandal in their company.

Silly as it is, it's how the world works.

I don't really see it like that. Every locker room is different, but I guess the Broncos were prompted about it and so they answered. You know most casual fans are thinking, "Gee I wonder what my favorite team's locker room is like...." so this is just a pre-emptive strike.

Yet, I do think the picture that the Broncos FO is trying to paint is accurate. I don't think it would be homerism or naivity if one considered the Broncos' locker room being intact. Enough leadership on the roster and in the coaching ranks.
