With Martin gone (he won't be back) and Ritchie probably cut lose if no other reason then Bad PR. What is you thoughts on draft?
I myself see us taking Best available (oline man on the board) ( unless its Ireland then he will draft a DT/P/etc) no but seriously I see 1st round will be oline and maybe even 2nd round if not 2nd round then 3rd round and grab a player in FA. _________________

The Saints only had their second rounder taken away and that situation was much worse... _________________

It hasn't changed my opinion of the draft which will have no impact on who the Dolphins draft, that will be up to the new GM and coach Gruden. _________________

This.
Of course I don't doubt the NFL can be bullied by the media, liberal lobbyists, and headhunting lawyers to do so... _________________ With much cheese,

Which Gruden? |
In the words of Cam Cameron " We signed the whole Gruden Family "
That said, Jon Gruden will be the head coach. _________________

Just curious, who would be your top choice for head coach if Philbin is fired? Greg Roman perhaps? _________________ With much cheese,

Honestly I havent given it any thought.
Maybe I should, maybe Ireland spins this thing to hold on to his job.

Not on topic but since we are going down this path.....
What happened to the Saints could be a blessing for us. In hindsight many would say the Saints were punished for a common place practice. That would imply that before they punish the Dolphins they should investigate what is common place in other locker rooms.
Now I doubt many will talk openly. I doubt we are going to find much addmission of text messages with the "n" word. But I do think what has transpired here won't look as bad as it does once the true nature of a NFL locker room is known.
As far as the draft we all know we need OL. Funny thing is lots of folks were complaning when we were drafting OL high in the past. We just need to do better at discovering and drafting guys with potential in the later rounds. Sure would have been nice to have Bakhtiari and Jordan Mills. |

The only incidents in the NFL that have been the cause of a team losing a draft pick have been incidents of cheating so far as I'm aware.
The Saints cheated the salary cap and pay restrictions with the bounty ordeal, New England with spygate, and our own fins by tampering with Don Shula to bring him in as our HC. |
