This week in the lives of the Arizona Cardinals...

Reporter: Bruce with the success of the running game any chance we will see a more running based offense?
Bruce: we've been a running based offense the whole way, I mean we run at least 40% of the time!
Reporter: Will we be seeing more Andre Ellington?
Bruce: But Mendenhall has been playing so well!

Reporter: Honey Badger, how have you spent your bye week?
Badger: Well, there's football and ohh I watched football. And I footballed and...
Reporter: Tyrann did you do anything else this week?
Badger: I had to sit out a whole year of football last year. I'm not going to do anything else now and savor the sport

Reporter: Larry, there have been reports of you possibly being traded this offseason, care to comment?
Larry: I really would not care to. I come to play everyday for the Arizona Cardinals and I don't plan on it changing anytime soon

BACKGROUND: The Texans limp into this game with a record of 2-6 coming off a loss to the Indianapolis Colts by a score of 27-24. New QB Case Keenam threw for 350 yards and 3 touchdowns (No interceptions) RB Ben Tate lead the way with 81 rushing yards. WR Andre Johnson piled up 229 yards on 9 receptions with all 3 of the Keenam touchdown passes. And the defense did nothing very flashy. They had 4 sacks and forced one fumble but no interceptions.

Lucky's 3 Keys to Victory:

Texans
- Defense has to scare Palmer, make him move around
- Keenam just needs to get points on the board
- Shut down that Cardinal rushing attack

Cardinals
- Establish the run game, Palmer plays his best when we have a run game going
- Actually score, no more field goals
-Defense needs to rattle Keenam. Don't let him do anything special

This week we play the struggling Houston Texans and should we really expect anything but a win? This team has just been bad this season, to the point where the fans are booing their QB and cheering when he gets hurt. That team is reeling and we just need to push them while their down. Don't give them a chance to get up and just roll. This team can beat us if we come in sleep walking. Coming off a bye week we will see if Arians really has made the adjustments needed for a second half playoff push. The playoffs can be done with this schedule. I thought coming into this season 5 wins was the most realistic, now it is starting to look like 9 at the least. The playoff push starts here boys. Hold on, it's going to be a bumpy ride.

PREDICTION: Cards roll and Bruce makes the necessary adjustments and makes the offense revolve around the rushing attack. 31-17 Cards.

Now in case You need some help getting pumped up...

And last but not least LETS GO CARDS!!!!

With this being a home game as well as coming off the bye, against a young inexperienced QB, there really is no excuse for this game; the Cardinals have to win this game.

The Cardinals defense has been playing well and ought to make Keenam's life miserable.

The thing I want to see is if Carson Palmer throws another boneheaded interception in the first quarter. He has thrown an interception in the first quarter of almost every game if not all of them.

Fitz is officially off the injury report for Sunday. Hopefully the bye week gave his hammy the rest it needed. I think it's about time we saw one of his spectacular catches we are so accustomed to.

Case is going to test us deep, hopefully he tests PP or Matheiu and they get a pick or two.

I really want to see Palmer go a game without turning the ball over. That would be nice.

Another thing that is interesting me is if Winston and Massie will be rotating again since they'll be lining up against Watt most of the time. I think if Massie is able to play a good game against Watt, he simply has to be our starting RT. He's younger and if he's playing just as well as Winston then you choose him every time.

Mendenhall is like the girlfriend that Arians refuses to break up with.
