GM John Dorsey said #Chiefs will activate rookie DB Sanders Commings from IR by tomorrow's deadline

Could be bad news for Dunta.

I hope he (Commings) can live up to his billing... Dunta certainly has NOT. Or, wait, has he???

Watch him turn out to be Marcus Cooper tier. We'd be so set with our secondary for the next decade.

the fact that they seem to know that he would have pushed for PT even before the first training camp practice is telling I would think. I loved what I saw from him when he pressed in college.

#Chiefs will release KU's Bradley McDougald to make roster room for Commings

More Dunta watching from the sidelines ...

Dunta's impact may not be visible on the field but I do think he's impacted them.

I have no evidence of this of course beyond seeing his reactions out there on the sideline. He certainly looks like a player coach at this point and.. well.. it's not all that terrible a thing.

As for Commings.. really excited to see what kind of looks he gets in this scheme. His speed in a robber role or in direct coverage is intriguing.

About damn time Laughing
Yet another weapon for Sutton to use. Can play CB/S. ran a faster time than Lewis so he could help all over the field. Also helps to have another DB against Peyton

Really liking the college tape of the guy so far.

Sutton will have fun with him back there, he's super athletic but raw. Seems to take good angles, and is opportunistic for the interception.

Not exactly what I'd call a tackler though, but he's more Earl Thomas than Kendrick Lewis. Think its because the world class athletic ability provides more of a punch.

This was one of my sleeper picks and was dissappointed to hear when he got hurt. I think he could end up taking some of Lewis' PT. He's got that centerfielder mentality and wouldn't mind seeing him hang back instead of Kendrick. He's got time to get back into the swing of things but it can't hurt to have another piece.
