What a game plan to have McCown balling like that.

What play calling on some of those runs and the Marshall in the slot on key 3rd downs.

What a set of balls going for it on 4th down and then orchestrating a 9:00 minute drive.

Dom Capers kept waiting for Mike Tice to show up and screw things up and Marc Trestman got underneath that hair piece and got in Dom's head.

For the first time in like 5 years we did not get out coached by the Packers.

Capers had nothing in his little bag of blitzes.

DeCamillis is still a bum.

BEAST!

3 sacks but really 4. Multiple pressures, always hustling and played the run really well.

That is the first time where I felt like we had the smartest guy on the field against the Packers.

That we were prepared and schemed to have success.

That first drive, when everyone was calling for Forte, he comes out and throws the ball 7/8 plays with his back up QB for an 80 yard TD drive, genius.

Trestman is doing all of this with a ton of injuries, a 1st year system and now a back up QB.

I am so giddy I could cry right now.

McClellin has a Scottish ring to it...

I FINALLY UNDERSTAND YOUR AFFINITY!!!

In other news, MM90 convinced me to buy the new COD and also Treatman is straight BALLA!!!

However, we have to think, what if Jay were in the game? how does the result differ?

More targets to Marshall or Bennett? More picks?

Also I like that Forte was used inside the 5 and his contribution in the passing game was immense...

With all of this said we HAVE to go run stop in the draft this year...

I know Lacy is good but he isn't THAT good, we are just THAT bad...

Props brehs

Sucks about the Rodgers injury (and I'm so drunk spellcheck is saving my arese and I'm winging it at this point), but you guys at the least have a respectable, fantastic franchise vis a vis the Vikings, good win on your part. Obviously hope you do nothing in the playoffs, but gotta show respect where it is due.

I admit I wasnt too happy with this hire. The more I read about his history the better I felt. Watching his offense through 8 games I believe in Trestman. He knows offense and Cutler and McCown have both looked good. Why didnt we have Trestman and Emery instead of JA and Lovie as a head coach? I did like Lovie as a head coach, but he knows less than nothing about offense.

Trestman has been everything he was advertised to be. The Bears offense has been well disciplined and Gruden was right to call atention to how similar the scheme is beginning to look like New Orleans.

The two fake jet sweep/counter tosses to Forte in this game were things of beauty. Ingenuity and innovation from a Chicago Bears offense? What?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

We've been so spoiled by Special Teams play in the last 10 years, we were due for down year. Hopefully this is just a one year blip though. With so many contracts up at the end of the season maybe we can get a bunch of hungry young players on the bottom of the roster next year that can revitalize it. Weems has been okay, but Costanzo looks a step slower this year and Anderson/Bowman/McMannis have not been as noticeable as last season either. Might be time for some new blood.
