It is very rare that I come on here to offer any in depthy analysis or predictions but I thought this would be interesting. The cowboys are 5-4 and we have the following schedule:

Sun, Nov 10 @ Saints 7:30 PM (CT)

Sun, Nov 24 @ Giants 3:25 PM (CT)

Thu, Nov 28 vs. Raiders 3:30 PM (CT)

Mon, Dec 9 @ Bears 7:40 PM (CT)

Sun, Dec 15 vs. Packers 3:25 PM (CT)

Sun, Dec 22 @ Redskins 12:00 PM (CT)

Sun, Dec 29 vs. Eagles 12:00 PM (CT)

I have bolded the games I think we will win....7-9.

Here is the rest of the NFC east schedules and the games I think that team will win:

Eagles

Sun, Nov 10 @ Packers 12:00 PM (CT)

Sun, Nov 17 vs. Redskins 12:00 PM (CT)

Sun, Dec 1 vs. Cardinals 12:00 PM (CT)
Sun, Dec 8 vs. Lions 12:00 PM (CT)

Sun, Dec 15 @ Vikings 12:00 PM (CT)

Sun, Dec 22 vs. Bears 12:00 PM (CT)

Sun, Dec 29 @ Cowboys 12:00 PM (CT)
Final Record: 8-8

Giants

Sun, Nov 10 vs. Raiders 12:00 PM (CT)

Sun, Nov 17 vs. Packers 3:25 PM (CT)

Sun, Nov 24 vs. Cowboys 3:25 PM (CT)

Sun, Dec 1 @ Redskins 7:30 PM (CT)

Sun, Dec 8 @ Chargers 3:25 PM (CT)

Sun, Dec 15 vs. Seahawks 12:00 PM (CT)

Sun, Dec 22 @ Lions 3:05 PM (CT)

Sun, Dec 29 vs. Redskins 12:00 PM (CT)

Final Record 6-10

Redskins

Thu, Nov 7 @ Vikings 7:25 PM (CT)

Sun, Nov 17 @ Eagles 12:00 PM (CT)

Mon, Nov 25 vs. 49ers 7:40 PM (CT)

Sun, Dec 1 vs. Giants 7:30 PM (CT)

Sun, Dec 8 vs. Chiefs 12:00 PM (CT)

Sun, Dec 15 @ Falcons 12:00 PM (CT)

Sun, Dec 22 vs. Cowboys 12:00 PM (CT)

Sun, Dec 29 @ Giants 12:00 PM (CT)

Final record between 4-12 and 6-10. I didnt see any of the above games that thought the redskins would win other than the one I bolded. That leaves the eagles winning the division and us pretty much out of the playoffs. I believe that these records and final standings are pretty realistic.

I would love to hear your thoughts and opinions.

I think you are underselling the Redskins.

Which games that they have left do you think they will win. I only pointed out 1 that I thought they would have a pretty good chance at winning and then I spotted them 2 more wins.

They have 4 NFC E games. Division games are always a toss up. I see them losing to KC. Upsetting the 49ers. And beating down the Falcons.

I think we'll win more than 2 of our remaining 7 games. Even as banged as we are defensively, we have more talent than most of the teams left on our schedule. Health will be the biggest factor.

I think the Eagles will finish at 6-10, ultimately only being the 'Skins and Cards. As bad as the Vikings are, Adrian Peterson always gives them a chance to win.

I think the Giants will finish at 4-12, beating the Skins once, and the Raiders.

I think the 'Skins will finish 6-10, beating the Giants, Vikings, and the Falcons.

Regardless of the state of the division we are in the driver's seat. I would rather be there than looking up.

Remember when the NFC East was the best division in football? It's hard to fathom that a team could win the division with a .500 or worse record.

It's really tough to predict how any of the teams could fair. The Boys, Eagles, and Redskins have been really inconsistent this year. That said, I wouldn't be surprised if any of these 3 teams made a big run in the second half.

Seattle did it a few seasons ago.

No one can be happy just making the playoffs. A win against the 49ers week 1 and you might be able to call this a success, but I wouldn't go that far. We might win a flukey game at home, then get blown out week 2 and back to square one. But Garret and this staff is going to get a pass with a division championship and a maybe he'd need at least a competitive game in that wild card round.

And the Eagles winning in our building week 17 is not fair. We have consistently been the better team than them in the biggest games since 2009. Obviously you would think Foles would play a bigger game, but I don't think they match up with our offense at home.

I see us winning Giants, Raiders, Bears, going 8-8.

I see the Iggles only winning Cards and Cowboys, going 6-10.

Reason being, We ALWAYS lose the last week of the season. This year is no different. Do you realize this is the first week the Iggles have scored an offensive TD in almost a month?

So they had a good game. So what? I don't see them winning 4 out of 8.

I'll just put this here:

http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/2013/11/03/eagles-nick-foles-michael-vick-seattle-seahawks/3428969/

Quote:
.846 Tony Romo's career winning percentage in November after Sunday's victory over the Vikings improved his record to 22-4 the best of any quarterback with at least 20 starts in the Super Bowl era.

1 down, 2 more to go in this month.

I think we have a very good shot at going 11 - 5 this year especially with Rodgers being injured with a possible broken collarbone.

This is why I dont look down the road and see who we will beat and who we will lose too, Injuries happen and that changes everything. That said, we win 5 more games and will sit at 10-6, 1st division champs Smile

He's only expected to miss 3 weeks as of right now. So while the rest of the NFC East gets to play against Seneca Wallace, Rodgers will be back in time to play Dallas smh that's huge

That's parity after the implementation of the salary cap. Really who is all that great of a team. Baltimore certainly wasn't a great team last year. The NFL wanted this, so teams like KC, Tampa, and others can go from worse to first or at least playoff level quick, and keep fan interest. It's one of the reasons, I felt we need to spend most our assets on the offense, and dline. Didn't really want us to sign a big ticket CB or draft a top CB. Defense doesn't win championships anymore, because the rules are too slanted in the offense' favor.
