Rex gets the very best from his players.

So does Jim Harbaugh.

Very true, but is does Jim have the defensive pedigree that Rex has? No. Rex will find way to hide Aso weaknesses and use the positives on the field. Remember alot of people thought Cro was done with the performance that he displayed his last yr in SD, and look how he panned out with us. Aso three years ago was the very best CB in the league next to Revis, and there are people that even say he was better. At vet min, we have nothing to lose.

I agree we have nothing to lose but peoples argument for him being 2nd best was because he wasn't being thrown at since the other corner was so bad/they couldn't stop the run. Once he got to Philly it was clear we was a joke. I'm ok with live and die by youngsters this year.

It's Kerry Washington's fault.

I wouldn't mind bringing him in. Milliner still has a lot to learn and we actually have a shot to get into the playoffs and make it far. So bringing in someone like Nnamdi would make decent insurance just incase Milliner has another bench worthy performance.

For the vet minimum we could do a lot worse at our #5 corner. He'd easily be behind Walls, Wilson, Milliner and Cro. Low risk, high reward.

Considering Id take Fred Smoot, Shawn Springs, Aaron Glenn or Chris McAlister at this point, Id damn sure take Scrabble. Give him a similar contract that the 49ers did and it would be well worth it.

How the mighty has fallen. At one time Nnamdi Asomugha was the considered the best CB in football. I wanted to sign Nnamdi when he was last available. Nnamdi, Revis combo would have been the best CB tandem of all-time. For the right price I would take a chance on him. Not sure what he has left.

What happen to him he was so good in Oakland, that said lets take a shot with him. what have got to lose ? Lets be honest our CB's are very shakey. Our D backfield is the thing that is keeping us from being the best defense in the entire league.

He's a scout with the team, well he signed with us last year so Id imagine he's still with the team. He looks no older than Roman Harper, give him a jersey Idzik.

Let Asomugha be a cautionary tale for Cromartie. Some players fall off a cliff once their athleticism starts to go.

Yea I'm afraid this is the case. Cro never had great technique he always depended on his recovery speed. Hopefully he isn't declining yet.
