Maybe he might not reject us twice. I will like to bring him in as depth. Rex will utilize the talent that he has, and will be a solid signing.

Cro, Dee, Wilson, Walls, and Aso. Looks pretty good to me

I wouldn't be against it if it were for the minimum. Bringing in a guy who can help out Milliner would not be dumb. Hopefully he doesnt get any playing time.

So glad this scrub chose the "dream team" over the Jets.

News flash...our corners suck too. He will help and he could be a mentor to Dee. I would get him a chance.

Rex gets the very best from his players. He is the perfect fit for this squad, we need a CB that we can rely on that can come in and backup Milliner.

For the minimum but that's it. Honestly don't care if we sign him or not.

If he's physically able wouldn't have a prob bringing him in for vet minimum... he's kinda a 1 trick pony though outside coverage against the sideline

I don't see how this is a bad move in any way considering he is a vet and will be making the minimum. There will definitely be Sundays where we might need him out there when Milliner is struggling. I would definitely give him a look.

I would love this signing. Get someone to back-up Milliner, bring in a veteran of press-man D, and add some depth.

He's not going to be asking a lot. Just have to hope the Giants don't pounce on him first.

I'm all for bringing him in if the price is right and he doesn't cut into Dee's playing time. We didn't draft Milliner with the #9 pick to sit him on the bench and learn, we drafted him to play from day 1. Every rookie is gonna have growing pains, but they have to battle through them. If bringing Scrabble in as a mentor/depth signing I'm in. But to start opposite Cro and put Dee on the bench than No thank you.

And that one trick is gone due to a deterioration of his skills. He could never play zone or tackles, and now he can play man either. He's done.

Very true, but is does Jim have the defensive pedigree that Rex has? No. Rex will find way to hide Aso weaknesses and use the positives on the field. Remember alot of people thought Cro was done with the performance that he displayed his last yr in SD, and look how he panned out with us. Aso three years ago was the very best CB in the league next to Revis, and there are people that even say he was better. At vet min, we have nothing to lose.
