How did Plan9 get FF MVP? One of my least favorite posters. He just hates all day everyday with no break. Doesn't it get old for you, dude?

@RainerSabinDMN: This season, the #Cowboys have run the ball 33.4 percent of the time. Last season, they ran it 33.8 percent of the time. That's not balance.

So much for the improved run game we and making it a priority to improve it that we heard about all offseason

I really don't know how to address our lack of commitment to the running game. If we were successful at running the ball I would say run it more. The numbers say that we are not successful at running. We average 3.7 yards per carry. Is this a rb issue, an oline issue, or an overall offensive philosophy issue? I would like to see us run a little more too but is the issue the sheer number of running plays vs. the execution of running plays when we do run the ball? I don't know if running for runnings sake is what we need. However, if we led the league or were near the top of the league in yards per rushing attempt would we have a more impactful offense that kept defenses on their toes?

But he speaks the truth, The Cowboys FO have no clue and should hire Plan who would in turn transform this team back to the Glory days of the 90's because He knows exactly what to do and he would be right on all his draft picks and if those picks don't work out , it would still be Joan's fault Smile

Couldn't it be said that pretty much every player on pretty much every team knows that his coach is not the one that he ultimately answers to? Most teams do in fact have an Owner and a GM, both of whom are ultimately more powerful than the coach. If you think about it, that part of the whole "emasculation" argument is just plain wrong. Every single head coach in the NFL answers to someone in the organization that is higher up than himself. Hell, even Belichick has to put up with some meddling from his team's owner. You really think the Tebow circus was Belichick's idea?

If he's good to go then let him loose; gonna need all hands on deck against New Orleans. But if he's not then I would've held him out through the bye. You never want to rush a guy back from a soft tissue injury.

Speaking of which, is Austin's vacation over yet?
