I'm interested to see how Steven Jackson does in this game especially with Red Bryant out. Our run defense has not looked good as of late.

I think it'll be a good game but I expect our offense to have no problem moving the ball.

Our run D may well be better with out Red. Im completely done with Red at any position on this team. I know hes an emotional leader but he just isnt a good player, he needs to be cut after this year. I dont want him back even at a cheap rate.

If we dont finish with 200 rushing yards total today....Bevell failed. If we don't possess the ball for at least 35 minutes in this game, bevell failed. If russell wilson is sacked more than twice in this game, bevell failed....hard.

Keys to the game:

-Possess the ball. Roddy White is back from injury, sean weatherspoon is still out. That within itself tells us one thing: We should be running the ball and playing keep-away from a very potent offense. This will be good practice for other high volume, vertical offenses we could be facing in the playoffs this year (New Orleans, Detroit, Green Bay, Denver, Indy.....etc).

-Play Seahawk football. Seems cliche right? Maybe a few years ago, but this is a team that has an identity now. Control. Controlling the clock, the LOS, the ball, and the tempo. We need to come out and take this game by the throat. Smashmouth, Physical, even a couple penalties for being too aggressive are tolerable. The falcons can't match our toughness and we can't match their finesse.

-Stop with the unnecessary turnovers. Well, aren't all turnovers unnecessary? Yes and No. I can live (reluctantly) with a turnover because we're playing aggressive in the right moment or because the defense made an amazing play. We CANNOT, however, survive another episode of Kearse fumbling on a KR to gain another half yard, Sidney Rice ('Enter new player here') diving backwards when he already has a first down and blindside pass rushers let loose on Wilson for a strip sack. Ball security and necessary risk are what we're looking for here. If we have a problem with this task against this atlanta defense, we're for some trouble later on in the year.

This is a BIG game. We can't afford to lose these type of games with New Orleans and San Fran still looming. After this game, 4 of our last 6 games will come at home. A 13-3/14-2 season is not out of the question with a win today, in fact it's almost guaranteed.....but we have to do business on both side of the ball today.

I actually don't hate that call from bevell, ensure the field goal. I don't trust this oline to pass protect on 3rd and 12

I'll take 3 points on our 1st drive. It's a better look than we've had most of the time this year. Hopefully we can get 7 on the next drive or even defensive side.

Lynch looked good and now Bailey in the game? Going to watch him closely.

I love the Dink and Dunk approach this week, that's what we need to be doing. No need to force deep routes every drive. This type offense will be even more effective when harvin returns next week.

Nice play by Browner. I'll take it even though the pick would have been amazing.
