Might be out for the year. Not good. Nelson, Holmes, and Hill?

How long does it take to recover from an elbow dislocation? I heard it could be 4 weeks or 6 months. If its 4 weeks, we get him back in 2 games. Luckily we have 2 weeks before our next game.

Figures. It has been a tag team WR. One WR gets healthy another one gets hurt. Geno has no consistency in the WR corp to performance at his best on a week to week basis. It is all about trusting your WR to be a the right spot at the right time.

Damn.

Salas could be solid in Kerley's place.

We need Tone back in the worst way. Let's hope he stays healthy for the rest of the year. This bye is coming at the perfect time so we can get healthy/new guys can understand the offense a little more.

Of all the positions to get ravaged by injuries it the one we have the least depth at. Hill, Kerley, Holmes, Winslow, Cumberland all have missed games. That's the entire starting WR/TE core.

Salas looked ok, better than Gates (not saying much).

Man I saw the play that Kerley got hurt in and I thought to myself nice job keeping your legs away from getting rolled up on. Only to see him holding his arm a few min later.

We easily have the worst weapons in the league now. Poor Geno

Ugh I hate to see this, it's a tough game so we need a guy to step up. I guess since we've been playing with a patchy group of WRs I don't think we will see a huge drop off in production but the potential of a healthy Kerley hurts.

Like ( famous ) said Geno Smith has not had a receiver that he has faith in, every week we have a new WR. and that a problem for any QB, and even worst for a rookie like Geno Smith. In the off season our # 1 priority has to be Wide Receivers. We been screwing around for over two years and done nothing with this problem. If the Jets front office is waiting for Stephen Hill to be the next Randy Moss they are going to have a long wait.

Wow, we really can't catch a break when it comes to injuries to our receivers. But, it's part of the game, next man up. Hopefully Salas can be productive in the slot until Kerley is back.

Per Cimini:

Jeremy Kerley, who underwent tests today, has a dislocated elbow, per source. Looks like he'll be out at least a few weeks. #Jets

I'll take that as good news. Thought he was going to be done for the year.

Anything that doesn't involve IR is good news in this situation.

Well I think Geno Gets his starters back (Holmes, Winslow & Cumberland) against Buffalo plus we may have a Stephen Hill sighting since he seems to enjoy torturing the Bills secondary.

At least we get Cumberland, Holmes, and Winslow back after the bye.

As much as I dislike Holmes, we're gonna need him down the stretch. Hopefully we can finally get that elusive back to back win up in Buffalo.

Twisted Evil I'm excited we get two weeks to prepare for the Bills, hopefully Geno can show them it was a mistake not taking him in the first round in their house.

It looks like there's a chance that Manuel might start that game.

Geno vs. Manuel II
