Maybe not as inspirational as Bruce Arias for the Colts last year, but maybe even more effective, because JDR is more vocal. I remember him as MLB for the Cowboys, he was pretty intense then, if memory serves me correct. Perhaps AKRNA can second this, since he is old enough to remember JDR's playing days.

Actually AKRNA, how good of a QB was Ace Parker?

Never heard of parker, and never payed too much attention to del Rio as a player.

Ace Parker was a QB in the beginning of the NFL. He just died. He was 101 years old.

He was a good linebacker, but Del Rio was best at special teams. He prolonged his career alot of years playing on special teams and doing it really well. That is what I remember of Del Rio the player.

Per an official team statement, Coach Fox has been released from hospital and will progess to the next stage of his recovery, which consists of a period of rest at his home in North Carolina.
