Round 1 - Cameron Erving - LT - Florida State - Erving is a true LT. He shut down pass rush specialist Vic Beasley in Clemson. Erving is a true pass protector and that is the whole idea, keeping Tannehill on his feet and off his back. He probably won't ever be a great or even good run blocker but that is fine.

Round 2 - Brandon Scherff - RT/OG - Iowa - Scherff is a dominating run blocker who has a mean streak in him. He is the type of guy that will set the tone for everybody else. Scherff comes from Iowa where the lineman are well coached, technically sound and pro ready. Scherff will fill in at OG or RT, wherever he is needed.

Round 3 - Daniel McCullers - DT - Tennessee - Just a monster of a man. Going 6-6 and around 355-370 lbs. When McCullers uses good pad level and technique he is almost impossible to block. He is a bit of a project, but has some upside as a run stopper and pass rusher.

Round 4 - Antone Exum - CB/FS - Virginia Tech - Exum tore his ACL in 2012 and is still kind of recovering from it. He might be forced to switch to Free Safety in the NFL. With Clemons future up in the air, he can either take over at FS or be depth at CB.

Round 5 - Cody Hoffman - WR - BYU - Hoffman is a different kind of mold than Mike Wallace or Brian Hartline. Hoffman is a bigger guy who is a little more physical. Probably wont "wow" anybody at the combine, but he is a productive WR with good hands and is a solid all round prospect, just nothing real special to him.

Round 6 - Carlos Hyde - RB - Ohio State - Hyde's lack of long speed and wiggle is not for everybody. Throw in some character concerns and you can see why he won't be a high pick. BUT, he is physical as hell. He goes out looking to hit somebody. He does what all of us want Daniel Thomas to do, run hard! He is the thunder to Millers lightning.

Round 7 - Gabe Holmes - TE - Purdue - A H-W-S tight end, that is raw, had poor QB play but could end up as a real threat. Holmes dislocated his wrist and that ended his season. More in that Egnew mold, he could push Egnew for a roster spot and give Tannehill a different type of weapon. Like Egnew the blocking needs work, but he has that rare movement skills for a big guy.
