ESPN's Chris Mortensen confirmed Justin Blackmon is done for the year. Indefinite suspension. Future with #Jaguars uncertain.

I wonder if it is for a full season.

This sets back the jaguars rebuilding process a full year. He is done as a jaguar. Just pissing money away oh well

Just sad to see a player as talented as Blackmon throw it away. It looked like he and shorts were going to be the next one two wideout duo, especially after you guys were able to solidify the QB position. You just hope that he no matter what he gets help for this evenif his days as a wideout in Jax are over.

Despite being sorely disappointed, I think it's too soon to write him off as being done in Jax. I hope he gets his act together and can resume playing for us next season, but it's kind of a situation of hoping for the best but expecting the worst.

#Jaguar WR Justin Blackmon will seek treatment to help him solve his issues. He had been improving, and the team embraced him. Until this.

Get some help Justin. This is your life and dreams at stake.

Cecil just posted this to his Instagram and Twitter.

So before you go judging and talking bad LOOK IN THE MIRROR!! I love this dude! Supporting him the whole way thru and will do whatever I can to help him. He is a great person, with a fun personality. He will get thru this, our team has his back and loves him. Major comeback coming just watch!! #WIDEOUTS

Looks like at least some of the team wants to support him.

So someone has to ask so I will be the bad guy. Being Blackmon is a huge talent but huge risk even after returning, what is the least you guys would take for him in a trade? 3rd? 2ND? or does it have to be a first? I know he's a first round talent and you likely spent that but I doubt anyone pays that for a big risk.

This maybe why you keep him, or do you cut your losses and take a 2nd or 3rd if that's the best offer? How about a different option? Brandon Albert for Blackmon straight up if the chiefs sign or tag albert?

Not a single team is going to trade for him. And the Jaguars aren't going to take Albert.

I don't know that no-one would trade for him, he's a huge talent and not that bad of a guy. The Jags would be smart to hold onto him though. He is worth more to them than they can get.

He's a massive risk, and not the type of player that you trade for, regardless of how talented he is.
