I thought CBS had those two Chiefs/Broncos games locked with no chance to be moved or flexed?

This is freaking awesome. This is obviously going to be the most hyped matchup of the year and should be televised to a national audience.

Just announced John Fox is going to need heart surgery and could be out two months. Obviously, I hope he will be fine, and these kinds of things are borderline routine nowadays, but also obviously it could affect their team. I'd imagine Del Rio steps up to HC while he's out, which bodes well for us. Peyton will handle the offense just fine, but their Defense could suffer with less attention.

Not trying to trivialize Fox's issues either, just talk football and the ramifications on the field this might present.

Jack Del Rio is still on their staff and will have control of the defense. If there will be any falloff for the Broncos, I envision it being due to their preparedness and game plans. In fact, losing Fox for the next 4-8 weeks might actually inspire their roster to play even better like it did with Chuck Pagano and the Colts. We'll have to wait and see, but in the end, this could be a huge development in their season, bad OR good.

@RJinVegas: #Broncos -8.5 hosting #Chiefs. KC first 9-0 or better team to be an underdog in any game (data back to 1990)"

Not too bad, IMO. Going against an 8-1 team playing at home. I doubt those circumstances have happened much (if at all) in that timespan.
