I'm really excited in him as a player and in his development, but I still counted two drops today. They just weren't obvious ill-advised drops. Just needs a few more kinks to work out before he turns the corner.

He could 4 or 5 of those this season if he had held onto one of them & Brady hit a few others.

Lets not get ahead of ourselves...Dobson's 4.4 is not Randy's 4.1

I love seeing Dobson grow game to game. It's impressive especially seeing how most rookies have panned out and just either not played due to lack of talent or injury. It's awesome seeing him grow as a player and figure out how to be a part of this offense.

I remember the day people realized Ridley was going to be a major factor. I can't say it for sure about Dobson yet but he's looking better than he did a month ago. The more he plays I think the better he will get at the little things that he's struggled with (concentration, completing the catch, easy stupid drops) just takes time. Gronk and Hernandez weren't crazily dominant their first years.

Happy we didn't use Dobson as a healthy scratch Wink

In case anyone wasn't couting, that bomb to Dobson traveled about 57 yards in the air. And it didn't look like Brady really even wound up too much. He still has the arm strength.

Arm strength has never been in question for him.

When Dobson raised his hand in the hair, NBT climaxed.

Still only catching 50% of targets, though. That needs to improve.

I've heard all sorts of questions about him, accuracy and arm strength on the deep ball were up there. I heard rumblings that since some long balls were underthrown, arm strength might be falling off.

Plenty have been overthrown too though. Deep accuracy has never been his greatest strength and will never be his greatest strength. He can make every single throw in the NFL, period, but sometimes he misses his target when he's playing outside of his comfort zone. The offensive problems this season have been attributable to a) poor play calling that has put Brady outside his comfort zone too frequently, b) injuries and inconsistency among receivers, and c) Brady just being off. Yesterday b and c were non-factors so he scored four TDs and nobody really noticed a.
