Its time to move on over our heartbreak from last week. Don't dwell on losses and don't celebrate wins too long. Keep moving. Move your focus.

In a very winnable matchup the Boys are coming in after a heartbreaking loss. The best remedy for a loss like that is to face a team that has been struggling even more. The Vikings have come out of the gates slower than Matts midgets racing Usain Bolt. Even with a 1-6 record the Vikings are still a dangerous team. They have the best RB in the league and it will be our defenses' job to stop them. They also have a sensational rookie who has shown his skill in kick off returns this year. It will be the makeshift defensive line and our star Sean Lee who will have to turn All Day into No Gain.

VS

This man could very well be our key to the game

If this golden god can help stop Adrian then we can easily win this matchup.

BTW Can Someone throw this man the damn ball?!

Game Time: 1 EST, 10 PST
Location: AT&T Stadium

I'll add more later.

Fun fact. We are 0-5 against the Vikings in November.

If we don't play 8 in the box on every play, Monte needs a ball tap.

I think it will go the opposite way.

I think our defense fails to stop AP and the Vikes win.

Then we bounce back and beat the New Orleans Drew Breeses.

I am with this, it is just too much the Cowboys way. Which leads to Cowboys fans abandoning hope after we lose to the Vikes, only to be brought in by a huge upset victory against the Saints and then it all gets blown up again when we come back from the Bye and lose to the Giants.

not to jump ahead, but it wouldn't surprise me if we played really well against the Saints. Wouldn't be shocked if he had a much more aggressive game plan.

if the Vikings beat us, I might kick a small child.

I think we beat the Vikings, because that's what we do. We beat bad teams. Next week against the Saints, it'll be a lot like the Indy game.

No we play on the level of whoever we play. thats why our games are so close. even against bad teams. we let them hang around and we could win but then we dont.

We will not beat the saints. Drew Brees is a real QB. he will shred this D.

To be fair, Dallas has lost to the four above average/good teams they've played this year, and beaten the four below average/bad teams they've played this year. And three of those four wins were by double digits.

Maybe they aren't the team that plays up to or down to their competition this year. Maybe they're just an okay team that beats the bad teams and loses to the good ones. Not that that's a great place to be, but I think it's the reality of the situation, rather than the delusion some fans choose to live in where Dallas could be the best team in the league but chooses not to.

That is manifestly untrue.

That's it in a nutshell. I've written two pieces (a short one here, a longer one at cowboysnation.com) to exactly that effect. The way people fact to this news is... Enlightening.

Edit, also worth noting that the one win that was not by double digits *was* a double digit lead with 0:12 on the clock before the very definition of a garbage time TD
