Take some Tums before you watch it. You'll thank me later.

Finally getting to watch a game in person and see the entire field I can say that our zone coverage is terrible. We looked 10 times better on defense when we were in man whether it was off man or press.

Also, it was incredibly easily to tell pre-snap if we were in zone or man coverage.

Has anyone else noticed this or did we do something different in this game than we have in previous games? Hard to really have a full perspective on it from the television.

Of course. St. Louis would motion before the snap and that showed if they were in man or not. They did it the whole game. The defense would have been killed if they were playing an elite QB yesterday. I hope both sides of the ball actually show up against the Jags. Also kicking directly to Austin on that last punt was idiotic move by the special teams coach and Munch co-signed on it because they took a timeout before the punt. Rolling Eyes

Our defense looked like it reverted to last year during the bye. Very soft, not aggresive very Cecil/Schwartz like.

McCarthy made some nice stops. Give him credit.
Our LBs apparently have no idea how to play zone. Because Brown's coverage of Zac Stacy on a specific 3rd down play was awful. It's like he saw Stacy coming and decided to run away from him. They showed the replay and he wasn't even in the picture. WTF.

Pass rush was invisible. Need a top rated pash rusher in off-season.

Pass protection is the worst. Locker couldn't even drop back without getting pressured.
At the same time, I'm going to be critical about not taking any shots downfield. A go to Hunter should be a must at least once a game.

Great to see run game.

Casey...6 sacks awesome for a DT.

Verner was getting left on a couple plays. It's things like that, that make me feel they won't bring him back. He just don't have the speed.

Good thing came of it though...it looks like Fisher found his workhorse...

Bad thing...Fisher found his workhorse. It's going to stunt Bradford's growth. Fisher will run it 30-35 times a game with him and hope the kicker can win it....

Really Rams fans just need to hope that Jeff and co. don't run him into the ground in a season that likely isn't going to end in a playoff spot.

When Jeff finds his workhorse, he likes to work him right to death. 35 carries a game. Every game.

AT LEAST 35 times..lol

I think it was a bad kick, not a coaches decision.

Regardless, I'm not going to ruin your GDT with a fight about the Rams QB. Just think if someone had said the same thing about Locker in comparison to Fitzpatrick, you guys would have let him have it.

Too late.
He hasn't ruined anything. He's not being hostile, he's not being disrespectful, he's just an opposing fan. Titans fans go into opposing GDT's all the time and I've seen a few of us behave a lot worse than jrry has at any point.

Didn't say he was hostile or disrespectful. Just boring, and making arguments that can't be proven, and are not relevant if they could.

If you say so, Kern has been in the league how long and he doesn't know how to kick it out of bounds? A high school punter can kick it out of bounds around the 20 yard line. Make the rams drive 80 yards at least. Rolling Eyes
C'mon man.. they just wanted my blood presure up over 150 yesterday. Shocked Laughing

And you think Munch and company haven't been around any longer? Laughing I'm placing that punt solely on Kern. I think they were going for more of a coffin corner scenario and Kern just didn't angle it far enough to his right. People will look for any reason to blame the coaching staff and not the players.

Well if the kick is solely on Kern, how many more boneheaded plays is he going to get before Munch & the ST coach says we are going to make a change? Kern has dropped 2 punts (flat out dropped them) this season, mishandled a FG attempt and now cannot punt out of bounds. Who else is to blame for Kern still keeping his job when other players have been benched or cut for poor play? Teams can change kickers during the season. At least bring someone in on a Tuesday to try out, so the guy will know I need to perform better. For the record I blame all 3 of them: Munch, special teams coach & Kern.

Time for a new punter. Laughing Pat O'Donnell from THE U would be a good draft pick. Great punter.
