Reports came out today that the Giants expect Brown back following the bye. I realize we are 2-6 and haven't beat a good team yet. I get it. But I still look at this team and see too much talent to be this bad.

Maybe I am being optimistic but if Brown comes back and has some good games, I think the passing game will come back to life quickly. Give Eli and these receivers and extra second and we will be moving the ball like we are used to seeing.

And the defense's numbers look much worse than they are playing due to the plethora of turnovers through the first half of the season (though Eli has had a few good games in a row turnover-wise).

The fact is we shut down two elite running backs two weeks in a row. And the secondary is playing extremely well, in my opinion.

Everyone knows we HAVE TO win out against divisional opponents to have a chance. But is that so much to ask? This division is not good.

Fingers crossed...

Top five...

Depends on what your definition of save is. If you mean make the playoffs I say he probably could depending if it would take snaps away from Eli. Then again he could bust just like Wilson has done and make our team worse.

Honestly by my definition he could not, the only result id be happy with as of now is a top 5 pick or a Superbowl Championship.

The are multiple issues with this team, one average player does not solve all the issues

Can Andre Brown play guard, center, tight end, defensive end, or offensive coordinator?

But on a serious note, I doubt it. I doubt he'll even be much more effective than Hillis has been the past couple weeks. It should help, but David Wilson's return is much more significant in my opinion.

The only area I could really see him giving us a boost in is redzone scoring, which is obviously much needed. I don't think he will make all that much of a difference, though. Our play-calling, o-line play, and miscommunication issues are all far bigger reasons to our redzone woes than lack of ability at the RB position.

I will say our o-line played pretty well last week against a formidable front four, so that bodes well for us. But you saw the miscommunication issues and terrible play-calling as clear as ever. At least we didn't have any turnovers.

I like Brown and I think eventually Wilson, Brown, and hopefully Hillis will give us a nice trio at RB. But it's to little to late for this season. Honestly I'd rather them not rush him back. But Brown, Hillis, and Cox should be fun to watch.

Andre Brown will be the Jon Beason of our offense! Everyone will play lightsout and we'll crush every opponent.

but tbh I think he'll do ok, but without Wilson he'll never do what he did last year

RB isnt the issue. O-line is the issue.

That Beason comment is blasphemy.

He will become the mayor of New York City. If he wants too

He can help. Not the savior.

If your RB is fumbling, missing holes, and running up the backside of lineman...it's an issue..
