Ever since that Nebraska game I have cooled on Hundley. He is too rare and it has showed big time recently.

Mariotta just looks unstoppable right now and of all goes well he could declare. However it is always difficult to scout RS sophomores and how often than not how much mature and ready they are at 20-21 years old to take on bring the face of the franchise at such a young age.

Anyone that thinks not taking a first round QB will help this team is in for a long shot. They usually never work. Russell Wilson is the exception not the rule.

And lets not forget most scounts said if Wilson was 3 inches taller he was a lock for the first round. Most coaches were worried about his ability to throw over a line not his skill set. You draft a QB in the first round, if you don't think you see one worth a first round picn you take the next best available player, so I agree with not taking a QB in round one if Bridgewater is not there or Mariota stays (Hundley at this point has to stay), but I would rather trade back and select either Lewan or Mathews and accumulate more picks.

If Mariota and Bridgewater are not at our pick then we might as well trade back and grab Matthews or Barr or someone like that then we will have the amo to trade back up and get Manziel in te middle of the 1st. That's the way is go if we can't get Mariota or Bridgewater.

This guy's mock draft is great for us
1st Jadevon Clowney DE
2nd Eric Ebron TE
4th Aaron Murray QB

Don't care what you think our team would be winners with this draft

Considering we're currently winless... probably.

But we need a QB in round one. I'd rather guess on one of them than a late rounder. Like what's been said, Glennon is a late round QB. So we've already got one.

We're giving up 23 points per game and only scoring 14. Which is the bigger problem?

First problem I have when I read that is it says if Dominick and Schiano stay. As a team that had playoff aspiration coming into this year and haven't won a game since, there's no way they stay together

Clowney and Ebron would be great if we didn't need a QB.

It's like you keep missing what I say about not drafting a QB in the first. If you think Murray is as good as he is why on earth would he last to about the 100th pick. Cause that's where our 4th will be.

If Bridgewater or Mariota are available they are the pick. If they aren't then we'll start jumping into the hypotheticals

No to Boyd. The more I watch of him the more I dont like him.

If we didnt take a QB with our top 5 pick and traded down, or took Clowney and went to trade up Manziel, Mettenburger and McCarron in that order.

I know i'll get the homer tag for McCarron, but I see a guy that understands what defenses are trying to do to him and being able to adjust the calls at the line. Look at that LSU title game. That LSU defense had 8 legit NFL caliber players, maybe more.

Still think we should go Teddy or Marcus first, but a sound argument to me could be made going with McCarron in the second.

I want to see what Mettenburger does this weekend against Bama.

The more I see of Mettenburger, just like Boyd, the less impressed I am with him at the next level, I agree with you 100% if Bridgewater or Mariota aren't available at our pick, I would rather trade back (re-acquiring a 3rd round draft pick), select someone like either Lewan from Michigan or Mathews from A&M then in the second grabbing a Blake Bortles, Derrick Carr, or even AJ McCarron (in that order).

Why would we give this super talented team to a 4th round qb? We have a 3rd round qb...they're 4th and 3rd rounders for a reason. No.

I don't think that you comprehend that we are not going to wait until the 3rd or 4th round to draft a QB....

I agree. This team is now in a squeeze, they have no choice but to draft a QB in the first round. The question is, which one do the end up with?

If you get a chance at Bridgewater, get him. You will never be looking back.
He is the most pro ready qb in this class and has all the physical and mental tools to be a top 5 qb in the nfl. Think Brady/Rodgers Love child who was exposed to the sun too much.

100% agreed. People forget the 3 int game Andrew luck had to at one point under the spot light many thought Barkley was better.

Bridgewater is going to have an iffy game here and there without much nfl talent.
