I'm afraid this won't be easy at all. The bright side to this is that if they made Dalton look that good, maybe Brees can throw another 5-7 TDs. But we all know it rarely works that way, and this team has struggled in away games, especially on offense. And our last encounter with the jets, I believe we scored no offensive TDs,

Their defense is solid, but their offense isn't too much to worry about.

If we avoid giving up big plays, Geno will give the defense plenty of chances to get theirs.

24-17 Saints

Will be a tough game. Their run defense is great ( I believe #1 in the NFL ), so we have to air it out and hope, that Brees has another great game and especially our defense playing, like it has played before. Didn't expect such a predicition a few weeks/months ago, but I believe it will be a 17-7 or 17-10 game!

Jets have the #1 defense, we run for like 30 yards against them.

Brees airs it out all day for over 400 yards, but only 2 TDs.

14-13. Saints win.

2009
Saints win 24-10

Carney kicked a FG

Sharper got the (club record) 99 yard int return.

Remi Ayodele recovered a fumble in the ez for a TD.

Pierre Thomas scored on a 1 yd. run.

I'll never forget seeing Sharper make the pick and heading toward the Poydras st end zone..I was thinking at the time "I don't believe it"..It was a great year.

Remember the Jets game in 2001 when Turley pulled the helmet off the Jets player Damien Robinson and threw it?

Robinson had grabbed Brook's facemask and twisted it during a tackle and Turley went berserk. We lost 16-9 but it was worth it to be there.

The Ryan bowl!!

I'll go the opposite of everyone else. I think we'll beat them quite handily. Jets may have a great D, but if Andy Dalton can drop 5 TDs, then I'm sure Brees can spurt out atleast 3.

Yes establishing a running game will be tough, but we should have some success in the air (they are ~15 pass D).

Geno Smith has a short memory but has shown he can be prone to making mistakes. Our front 7 have to be dialed in to give him as much trouble possible.

31-13 Saints.

Turley was hilarious. Who will ever forget the guy that ripped the helmet off of another guy in defense of his QB. One of those moments that made me proud to be a saints fan.

I know if someone tried to break Drew's neck, I'd damn sure want Strief, Evans, or whoever to do the exact same thing. But if it happened to Drew I think there would be a riot in the dome and Saints would lose by DQ. And probably a few murders.

Agreed. Turley will always have my respect for that play, and I wasn't even a Saints fan back then. It's what every fan should want in their offensive linemen.

You might be right.or it could go 17-10 THEIR favor...our consistent inability to run the ball will sooner or later catch up with us anyway. This might be the time.
They don't fear the run, so they'll lay back in coverage, smother the routes and wait for a mistake.
If they can get pressure on Drew (like everyone else has) it could be ugly.

I still hate you Hartley, more this week than last.

Wasn't someone trying to defend this clown last week?
